Movie Preview: Renée Zellweger Is New in Town

The trailer for the romantic comedy New in Town, starring Renée Zellweger and Harry Connick Jr., seems to tell the whole story, and it looks like a predictable story at that. As the plot description states, "Renée Zellweger stars as a Miami-based consultant whose latest assignment, to restructure a manufacturing plant in small-town Minnesota, causes her to reconsider her professional and personal objectives once she settles into her new life."

And yet, if it's so predictable, why did I laugh out loud a few times while watching the trailer? There's something kind of adorable and funny about this movie, and I'm actually excited to see it. Renee Zellweger Chills in Marina del Rey and Manhattan

Renee Zellweger popped up looking sunny and ready for a workout on the set of her movie Chilled in Miami in Marina del Rey, CA yesterday afternoon. The outfit is a far cry from the period outfit we saw her filming another movie in recently, but this look seems to fit Renee perfectly. While the LA area Summer seems to be treating the actress well, NYC is where she's putting down some roots - she recently acquired another apartment in an Upper East Side of Manhattan co-op, making the total $8.2 million of property. Sounds like this former Texas girl loves the big city life.

Renee Wigs Out in Miami

After a quick Oscar time glamor break, Renee Zellweger was back on the set of Chilled in Miami yesterday. This time, however, she didn't have to brave freezing Canada and instead actually got to film in much warmer Miami. She was still all bundled up in a jacket despite being in the more tropical setting and spent some time fiddling with her wig. Bella wants to know if you like her hair better longer or shorter but I give my vote to whenever she's smiling.

Renée Zellweger Needs Some Mittens

Renée Zellweger was still finding ways to stay warm filming her new movie Chilled in Miami in Winnipeg, Canada on Friday. I'm sure the movie star didn't have to spend too much time waiting around outside in the freezing weather, but those bare fingers of hers make me cold just looking at them. While this movie sounds like it should be a cute little romantic comedy about a Miami businesswoman who moves to Minnesota for work and ends up falling in love with the town and trying to save the factory she's been sent to restructure, I'm still more excited to see her in Leatherheads. While that one has a bit of a marketing split personality the Clooney/Zellweger/Krasinski love triangle should be great.

Renée Is Covered All Ova' in Manitoba

Okay, so that rhyme is a bit of a stretch, but Renée Zellweger does deserve some props for braving the freezing cold temperatures filming her new movie, Chilled in Miami, in Manitoba, Canada yesterday. While Renée gets a pretty cute costar in Harry Connick Jr. for this film, nothing quite compares to her Leatherheads duo of George Clooney and John Krasinski. Not too much longer to wait for that one, finally - April is just around the corner. Fingers crossed it doesn't disappoint, but I'm thinking just seeing the boys in their old timey football gear will make it worth its while.

Renee Zellweger and Harry Connick Jr. Chill in Miami

As the title suggests, these two are in negotiations to star together in a movie. The "fish out of water comedy" is titled Chilled in Miami and "centers on a Miami businesswoman who's transferred to the sticks of Minnesota."

The original title for this project was 32 and Single, so I'm certainly relieved to see that at least they changed that up (because, you know, it's the 2000s now and being 32 and single isn't all that unusual or tragic). However, I must say I don't really understand what Chilled in Miami means, exactly. I assume it has something to do with Zellweger's character's icy cold personality before slowing down and warming up to the Minnesotans charming small town ways.

Yawn. I so hope there's more to the storyline than this!

The duo flirted on their lounge chairs, while Hayden alternated between sipping her Diet Coke and nibbling on a snack. After getting her fill of sunshine, she threw on her cover-up to take a solo stroll along the beach. Their good times continued Friday, when Hayden slipped into another suit for more side-by-side bonding with Ukrainian Wladimir. At 33, he seems to be in the age range Hayden prefers for her guy pals - the 20-year-old actress was vacationing this time last year with her 30-something ex-boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia in Bora Bora and May saw her enjoying some yacht fun with Brit Steve Jones.

Billie and Her Boys are Beckoned to the Beach

Billie Piper and her husband Laurence Fox took their baby boy Winston James to the beach in Miami this week. Winston's two months old now, and we last saw the family out and about in London, all wrapped up against the winter chill. Billie had no need for all those winter layers in Miami this time of year though (except her multipurpose leopard print scarf), as she sat on the beach shielding Winston from the sun, while Laurence tested out the water. I think they've got the right idea heading to Miami, as it gets colder and colder over here!

Fergie Has a Very Festive Birthday Weekend

Fergie celebrated her 34th birthday in style with a party at Liv nightclub in Miami on Friday night. She stood out in her tight silver number and gave props to new husband Josh. She said, "Now that the wedding is over, we are so chill and comfortable together – the feeling I have about Josh is like coming home. There is that small and intimate feeling I have all of the time that tells me things are so right!" On Saturday Fergie traded Josh for the other important men in her life, performing with the Black Eyed Peas at the Ultra Music Festival in Florida in one of her typically out there costumes.

It's been less than a whole day since I introduced you to Cleveland's Next Top Model, but I am obsessed - obsessed, I tell you! - with Tamara and her crew. Back at ground zero of CNTM, that is to say, Tamara's garage, the girls are told their next challenge: model swimsuits outdoors in the freezing Ohio winter. There's even a little "smile with your eyes" Tyraism from Tamara's photographer: "It's winter in Ohio," he tells the chilled ladies, "but it better be summer in Miami...here," as he gestures to his eyes. I won't give it all away, but let's just say, I'm wiping tears away as I type.
