Amy Winehouse has booked into the Focus 12 Clinic in Suffolk, just 15 miles from Highpoint Prison where Blake Fielder-Civil was moved to earlier this month. Russell Brand, who was treated at the clinic, reportedly suggested to Focus 12's chief executive Amy could get treatment there so she could be closer to Blake. - The Sun
Jade Goody arrived back in the UK last night, having left the Big Boss house after being told she has cancer. She has reportedly given her consent for the footage to be broadcast, and scenes of Jade telling her housemates the news and then leaving were aired in India last night. - Daily Mail
Following his release from a Vietnamese prison, Gary Glitter refused to board a flight to the UK and is now stuck in Thailand. He demanded to fly to Singapore and was told he will only be allowed out of Bangkok Airport on an international flight. - ITV
The organiser of Moonfest has cancelled the music festival because a court refused to allow Babyshambles to perform, following Wiltshire Police's concerns that the organisers hadn't hired enough stewards to deal with the "fans that follow the act". Pete Doherty is said to be "livid". - BBC

Another Worryingly Wild Weekend For Winehouse

Amy Winehouse's weekend began with fun and games as she headed to a gig at Proud Galleries, telling photographers their mothers would like her as she took them on a tour of the backstreets because "it kept it interesting". The evening became more interesting for all the wrong reasons though, with Amy's anger resurfacing as she punched a metal security blind. When she eventually returned home in a tearful state her hand was badly bruised and her ballet pumps were in shreds. She also reportedly lashed out at her security guards - which wouldn't be the first time - but Dad Mitch later told The Sun "Amy is doing fine". He's reportedly called a truce with Blake, who has begged Amy to leave the city. Mitch told The Mirror:

"Blake totally gets it. He said to me, 'We can't carry on living in London. We need to move out to the country'. If they do they could have the most fantastic life together, with the full blessing of my family. Whatever happens, we won't be where we are now in two years' time."

I only hope that the situation will be better, rather than a lot worse, by that point.

Pete And Amy: Music, Mice, Football And More Controversy

Pete Doherty had a busy weekend, playing music with his day job Babyshambles in Manchester on Saturday night before playing in the celebrity charity football tournament Soccer Six alongside his bandmates. His BFF Amy Winehouse was in the stands – she came along to give him a little support after the two of them managed to get themselves into even more controversy this weekend:

Pete posted a Youtube video that showed the two of them singing, talking and looking after dozens of baby mice with what looks like very dirty hands. Whilst playing Mum and Dad to the mice, Amy sends out a message to Blake-incarcerated:

AW: "This one's got a message for Blake – Please don't divorce Mummy, she loves you ever so. Hang on, my big brother wants to say something." PD: "If you divorce her you'll have me to deal with." AW: "I'm only a day old. I don't know what I'm doing but I know what love is."

After finally breaking it off with Kate Moss, he's recently given an engagement ring to model Irina Lazareanu. The two have known each other for years - Irina used to be the drummer for Pete's band Babyshambles until, ironically, Kate introduced her into modeling. I guess, as they say, a couple that plays together, stays together...

Also, don't forget Irina modeled with Kate in the debut of her Kate Moss for Topshop collection. Scandalicous!

Pete Doherty's New Project

Pete Doherty generates more controversy than music buzz these days, but the former Libertines frontman is finally resurfacing as a rock star, and the results are good. On Tuesday his new band, Babyshambles, released its debut EP on Capitol Records, called The Blinding. This is great news for those of us who've been jonesing for Doughtery's signature boyish sass ever since the Libertines called it quits. Check out the video for the first single, also called "The Blinding," below. Pete isn't looking his best here, but he hasn't lost his flair for catchy, edgy riffs.

Amy Greets Test Cheat Pete

Pete Doherty made his live music comeback last night at Kentish Town Forum with Babyshambles, and then celebrated by heading over to his mate Amy Winehouse's place. Perhaps he heard about the bizarre goings on the previous night when Towers Of London member Kristian Marr headed over to Amy's place, couldn't get in and so decided to have a sleep in the garage. Marr was eventually escorted away by police.

No police were around last night, which is good because I'm not sure Pete's in their good books at the moment, following his confession that he cheated on a drugs test while on parole (before he was jailed). The musical twosome parted ways with a big hug – I wonder if they worked on their reported duet? I truly hope music will be the healing force for both of them, it looks like Amy's skinnier than ever in these photos.

Kate Has a Birthday and Possible Career Change to Celebrate

Kate Moss was out in London yesterday afternoon for a shopping trip to the Bonpoint children's store. She was joined by a female friend and Jamie Hince, who's back in England after a weekend away in Milan performing during the city's Fashion Week. Kate was picking up a few goodies from the shop to prep for her daughter's seventh birthday today. While Lila celebrates the milestone, a recent development in Kate's professional life has some wondering about her growing empire. She just joined the Performing Rights Society, which should allow her to collect royalties on songs she wrote with Pete Doherty and Babyshambles, as well as potentially pave the way for a future collaboration with Jamie.

Kate Is Ready For the Next Phase, Whatever That May Be

Kate Moss was out and about in London today to do some shopping at her pal Vivienne Westwood's store. Pamela Anderson is the current face of the brand, but that didn't stop Kate, who's fronting Stella McCartney's new campaign, from picking up a few items from the shop. It seems like Kate's been getting a little antsy with her life in London - on top of rumors that she might move to the US, she's also said to have contacted a talent agent in hopes of finding film work. One thing Kate won't be doing is singing with her man Jamie's band, since his partner in The Kills recently denied rumors that she might collaborate with them like she did with Pete Doherty and Babyshambles. Even if Kate's musical career isn't going anywhere, it would be interesting to see where she lands on the big screen.

Kate Moss - Rock Star?

Kate hit the stage with Pete at a Babyshambles show in Florence on Thursday. Looks like she really got into performing. That or something else happened after the show? She's looking a little beat up as she left the event. Maybe it's because people can't keep their hands off her. Anyway, are you wondering why she is taking to the stage? It turns out Kate is looking to make a move from modeling to singing in the next few years. Pete is supporting her all the way, even signing her onto his band. Here's more:

The supermodel took up the drum sticks during the British band's Italian gig prompting speculation she may be tiring of modelling and keen to take up a musical career.

The pair have recorded a duet together entitled La Belle Et La Bete which appeared the Babyshambles' album Down In Albion.

The grandfather of her daughter Lila Grace Douglas Hack said, ...[S]he just loves the whole rock thing. She'd love to be a rock star herself. That's why she hangs out with that crowd the whole time. She doesn't really like modelling that much."

She has been modeling since she was like, 12. Maybe it's time for a change. I wonder if she is going to full-on join the Babyshambles. That's one way to keep an eye on Pete!

Free Pete Doherty Is Back to Work

Having walked free from prison on Tuesday after just 29 days inside, Pete Doherty enjoyed the sunshine in Camden yesterday with Babyshambles guitarist Mick Whitnall, who's also been hanging out with Amy Winehouse this week. Pete's wasted no time in getting back to the music since being released: as well as posting a new music video online, which involves his character being killed by his ex Irina Lazareanu (see it for yourself after the jump), he's also rescheduled his gig at the Royal Albert Hall and will be appearing with Babyshambles at Kentish Town Forum on 13 May. It was also announced yesterday that Pete's first solo show since his release has been scheduled for 17 May as part of the O2 Wireless Weekender at Manchester Academy. Let's hope his work will help him adjust back into civilian life.
