What age would you consider to be "middle aged"? 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s?

Well it turns out that 60% of Americans believe that the 60s are the new "middle age," thanks to healthy eating, longer life spans and not to mention a cool $9.4 billion spent per year in cosmetic surgery. Yikes.

For women, our 40s are being celebrated as the time where we can be comfortable and confident in both our personal and financial terms -- Most people truly believe that life starts at 40. Giving women worldwide, something to look forward to.

Americans May be Turning Into Giants

According to new U.S. Census Bureau data, Americans spend an average of about eight-and-a-half hours a day doing sedentary activities such as watching television, using computers (though I think it's OK if you're on FIT), reading, listening to the radio, or going to the movies. This sedentary lifestyle is the main contributing factor as to why we are the most obese people on the planet.

Other contributing factor found: Americans consumed more than twice as much high fructose corn syrup per person than in 1980. In addition to getting fatter, we're also getting taller.

What's more? As health-care costs continue to increase, more Americans pray for their health than invest in all forms of alternative medicine or therapy combined.

Dear the all mighty, please don't let this double-triple burger be bad for me...

Fit's Tip: Don't become a statistic and get moving. If you're one that spends 8.5 hours sedentary, then start cutting back and start moving. Go for a walk or take the dog out -- anything, even if it's small, will help.

This episode was all about the water - cliff diving, scuba diving - and some of the girls freaked. Who was able to overcome her fear and move on, and who choked? While it wasn't the most dramatic episode, this week's America's Next Top Model sure was beautifully picturesque. The models flew to the Hawaiian islands, tried out a little surfing, and then posed as a mix of different races. While Bella ranked the high fashion shoot as one of her 15 worst, I thought it was a nice hour of entertainment nonetheless. (Plus, Tyra stepped behind the camera a second time - a first in ANTM's history!) Do you remember everything that went down?

Was it just me or was America's Next Top Model kind of a snooze this week? I miss the over-the-top fantasy glitz of the Cirque du Soleil or martial arts challenges. Not that the judges didn't give the models a tough task - each girl had to interview on camera for The Insider and script her own CoverGirl commercial. There were some major flubs, especially from Erin who had a sob-fest. I found her majorly annoying, but unfortunately she stuck it out till the end. Do you remember who did get sent home? Rihanna Breaks Her Silence and Speaks About Chris Brown

Rihanna has spoken for the first time about her incident with Chris Brown in February. Speaking to Diane Sawyer in an interview which will air in the States on Good Morning America on Thursday and on 20/20 on Friday, Rihanna says: "This happened to me. … It can happen to anyone" and adds that Chris "was definitely my first big love". She was later seen out about about in Manhattan, and has also opened up in the December issue of US Glamour magazine, as one of their Women of the Year, about how she coped in the aftermath:

On how the people around helped her cope: "My friends and family have been extremely supportive, and everyone has been there for me. But at some point you are there alone. It’s a lonely place to be-no one can understand. That’s when you get close to God."
On she has changed as a resut: "I’m stronger, wiser and more aware. You don’t realize how much your decisions affect people you don’t even know, like fans."
On how the public experience affected her: "It has taught me so much. I felt like I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears."
On what she would say to others in a similar situation: "Domestic violence is a big secret. No kid goes around and lets people know their parents fight. Teenage girls can’t tell their parents that their boyfriend beat them up. You don’t dare let your neighbor know that you fight. It’s one of the things we [women] will hide, because it’s embarrassing. My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard. Now I can help speak for those women."

Which is harder - handling a sword on a high wire, or driving in LA traffic? This week on America's Next Top Model, the girls attempted both. Call me a dork, but I sort of loved the martial arts challenge. While it wasn't as flashy as their Cirque du Soleil shoot, it was fun to see each model take on a butt-kicking persona for the day. Patrick Dempsey Juggles Multiple Projects on GMA

Patrick Dempsey attended Reese Witherspoon's Avon benefit last night, and he was by the actress's side again today to appear on Good Morning America before heading out to do some shopping. Reese was on the show to chat about her new fragrance, while Patrick opened up about his own work with the cosmetics company as well as this season of Grey's Anatomy. He showed off a preview of tomorrow night's episode before going on to reveal that he's developing a new pilot with his wife based on her experiences in cosmetology school.
