I've never gotten into "The Unit," but it seems like a show I should love. The CBS drama is produced by David Mamet, who I tend to think can do no wrong, and I'm intrigued by the premise of an elite Special Forces team who must complete dangerous and top-secret missions around the world.
Tonight might be a good time for me to finally check it out, because CBS is airing two new episodes back-to-back.

United Bamboo recently went e-commerce, and it already has a respectable sale going on — a Spring/Summer section and a Fall/Winter one. As expected, the former displays airy pieces, while the latter has heavy coats. There are lots of of truly unique items to be had, but this United Bamboo Dark Gray Beaded Tunic ($140, originally $465) is particularly divine.

I'm a huge fan of United Bamboo, but it's so hard finding their stuff outside NYC. Lucky for me and fellow fans, there's a light at the end of the tunnel. The brand has just launched a new site complete with online shopping for ladies and gents.

When I was at T4 On The Beach in the summer I had a quick chat with ex-Skins star Joe Dempsie, who played the much-loved Chris in the first two seasons of the show. With Dev Patel doing so well with Slumdog Millionaire, and a brand new cast having taken over the reigns on the show, you might be wondering what the old cast are up to. Well here's a glimpse of Joe's post-Skins career, as he plays a footballer in new movie The Damned United.

Last week at the Music Unites Fall Masquerade Gala, Kerry Washington and Georgina Chapman wore pretty, poufy frocks from Georgina's coveted Marchesa line. Both dresses were white, but notice how the two styles varied in texture. Kerry's tulle embellishment and streamlined shape gave a more architectural appeal, while Georgina's feathered creation emoted flirty, flapper energy.

We all know what Dev Patel's been up to since the first cast of Skins left the show, but it was an exciting day for his ex-castmates Nicholas Hoult and Joe Dempsie yesterday, as each of them had a new acting project to show off. Nick is starring in New Boy, a new production in London's Trafalgar studios, in which he plays schoolboy Mark, who starts the sixth form desperate to become more popular and uses the new boy in order to achieve his goals. Fewer than 200 tickets remain for the run although more shows may be added in the summer, when Nick returns from filming a remake of Clash Of The Titans.

Excuse me, I'm a girl.
OK, I'm not just telling you that as an FYI. "Excuse me, I'm a girl" is actually the name of a new public campaign launched in the United Arab Emirates to crack down on lesbians.

Tots grow quickly, especially when it comes to clothes and shoes. And most foot-gear is too tattered or torn to be reused by another wee one.
Croc loving parents and kids can now recycle their worn shoes with SolesUnited.

It was Showtime's turn to present their newest show this morning at the TCAs, born from the mind of Steven Spielberg, The United States of Tara. After a video introduction from Spielberg himself, the cast and producers sat down to answer questions on the show. Toni Collette stars as a woman with Dissociative Identity Disorder, which her family and friends accept and work with rather than hide.
