Gerard Gives Hugs to Katherine and Kisses to Jen
Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl were cozy on the red carpet yesterday for a premiere of The Ugly Truth in London. He made an appearance earlier on the program GMTV, where he presented the weather — check out the video below — and revealed that he scored the role by telling naughty jokes. Gerard is having fun overseas with Katherine, but his mind is still with his The Bounty costar Jennifer Aniston.
Single Gerard Butler Is in London For Sex Comedy
Gerard Butler was on the promotional round in London yesterday, ahead of The Ugly Truth's UK premiere this evening. He appeared on GMTV and presented the weather, as well as confirming that he is not dating Jennifer Aniston. He also told Sky News he is single, and spent the evening at Hakkasan Restaurant, signing autographs for fans.

The Ugly Truth — See It or Skip it?
The Ugly Truth is a romantic comedy starring Katherine Heigl as a "romantically challenged" morning show producer and Gerard Butler as a "chauvinistic" correspondent, who battle about the differences between men and women. This time last year we saw Gerard fliming scenes Stateside, and earlier this month we saw the Scot fooling around with newly redhead Katherine at the LA premiere. It had a strong opening in the States over the weekend, but my girl Buzz was less than impressed.
Box Office: Guinea Pigs Take Down Wizards
In perhaps the first showdown ever between guinea pigs and wizards, the guinea pigs won out this weekend, as Disney's animated G-Force edged out Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at the box office. The little furry guys grossed $32.2 million to Potter's $30 million, though Half-Blood Prince has now accumulated a total of $221.8 million domestically.
The Gerard Butler-Katherine Heigl rom-com, The Ugly Truth, had a strong opening weekend as well, coming in third place with $27 million.

Giorgio Armani Dresses Katherine Heigl in The Ugly Truth
To help her look extra fabulous in The Ugly Truth — movie opens nationwide today — Katherine Heigl received a little wardrobe help from Giorgio Armani. We just found out the designer collaborated with costume designer Betsy Heimann on a couple of Heigl's key looks in the romantic comedy. His favorite piece from the film is this sexy Armani LBD worn by Heigl in a key scene.
The Ugly Truth: A Misogynistic Mess
When reviewing The Ugly Truth, it's impossible to ignore what Katherine Heigl had to say in 2007 about her film Knocked Up: "It paints the women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as lovable, goofy, fun-loving guys. It exaggerated the characters, and I had a hard time with it, on some days. I’m playing such a b*tch; why is she being such a killjoy?
