It's hard to say bad things about a movie this well-intentioned and sweet. It's a story about Iraq War soldiers that is heartwarming and funny, which is something we haven't seen much in films about the current war. I have no idea why the trailer for The Lucky Ones includes Sarah McLachlan's "I Will Remember You," a song practically engineered to force people to cry, because this movie isn't really sad.

Rachel McAdams looked radiant and boho chic at the Toronto Film Festival premiere of The Lucky Ones last night. She arrived solo in the late Summer dusk, but I'd like to think that Mr. Gosling has a little something to do with that big smile of hers. Ever since the amazing photos of them back together kissing at lunch we've been waiting for our next McAdams/Gosling moment, which joins The Time Traveler's Wife on the list of things we're excited to see from Rachel.

"Well of course it is — war is messy. It can't be all perfect!"
Despite the use of one of Sarah McLachlan's sappiest tunes and the three-strangers-thrown-together-on-road-trip shtick, The Lucky Ones looks like a really good movie.

After putting on 17 pounds for the movie Nine, Fergie learned it takes a lot longer to lose weight than it does to gain. Let's just say she's "2000-and-late" when it comes to learning this weighty reality (can you tell I've added the Black Eyed Peas' Boom Boom Pow to my workout mix?).
The extra poundage is nowhere to be seen on Fergie's skin-baring Allure cover shot, and the singer credits working out with her hot husband's trainer for getting her super-toned body back.

If you live in the New York metro area, you know very well of the Hamptons' reputation as THE place to be in the summertime. If not, you've probably caught a glimpse of the glory of the Long Island townships in movies like Something's Gotta Give and Grey Gardens. Unless you're a lucky dog who owns a home in the popular seaside locale, most visitors rent a Summer share or score a bed with a friend, as hotels in the area tend to be overpriced and lacking in looks (and personal BBQ grills).

Take That are still touring around the country, playing to some huge audiences, and last night I was one of the lucky 80,000 people at Wembley Stadium to see the band as they finally brought their The Circus: Live show to the capital! Along with their hits, and some dance routines they did in the early 90s, the boys had an incredible number of dancers and gymnasts bring the circus theme to life and did it all in the absolutely sweltering heat that we're being treated to at the moment in the UK. These new photos from last night's show expand on the amazing clown photos from the beginning of the tour, with a detailed glimpse at the spectacular elephant that transports them from the stage in the centre of the arena to the main stage, and the ringmaster and fire that make up the stage set for "Relight My Fire".

We all know that author Nicholas Sparks wrote The Notebook, which became a movie starring the sweet duo Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. Before The Notebook Sparks's novel Message in a Bottle became a movie. Later came A Walk to Remember starring Mandy Moore, and this year his book Nights in Rodanthe arrived on the big screen towing Richard Gere and Diane Lane in its wake.

If you haven't heard of Alayna Salter yet, you'll soon be hearing her name everywhere. The Oxford born singer has been likened to Avril Lavigne, and has many strings to her bow. She is still working hard to break in to the world of music, but is also a budding jewellery designer whose pieces have been already been snapped up by Katy Perry, Paris Hilton, Heidi Range, and Gabriella Cilmi.
