While Kristin was sunning herself on hot sands, Sarah Jessica Parker was freezing on our shores premiering her latest film with Hugh Grant! Kristin's taking a well-earned break after filming scenes all over the world for the second Sex and the City film, and if you can't get enough of all things SATC as we wait for the movie's release next May, you can style your footwear to walk just like Charlotte, Carrie, Miranda or Samantha.

It's no wonder Katie Price gave a smile to photographers as she left the GMTV studios in London earlier, as her career continues to diversify. Hot on the heels of rumours about Victoria Beckham's possible cameo in the Sex and the City movie sequel, Kate has confirmed she has her eye on the film too. She said: "I recently went to LA where I was doing my acting lessons for Sex and the City Part 2. They want a big-breasted English glamour girl and I have had the audition." You're pretty evenly split on whether you'd like to see Victoria in the film, so vote below to let me know - would you prefer to see Victoria or Kate in the SATC sequel?

Sex and the City 2 Gets a Release Date

Get ready for some sexual healing . . . in about 13 months. The Sex and the City sequel has a release date, and it's the same slot that the first SATC had: May 28, 2010.

Many of you voted in favor of a SATC sequel last year, and when asked about your hopes and dreams for the second movie, you had a variety of suggestions ranging from wanting to see the women at work more to seeing Samantha in a strong relationship with a man her own age. The overall consensus was definitely no more Big drama and wishing that this sequel were actually a prequel.

Well, whatever it ends up being, it's now on the calendars and coming to theaters near all of us next May. Fabulous?

Buzz In: What Are Your Hopes and Fears For the SATC Sequel?

It's officially official: The Sex and the City sequel is so happening and might be in theaters by 2010. When the first movie came out, it broke records and reminded the folks who rule Hollywood that hey, look at that, you can have a cast full of women over 30 years old and it will still be successful.

And while that's cause for celebration, it would be cool to improve upon that first movie, since as long as we're all shelling out the box office cash to see these beloved characters, we should get a quality film. So, let's chime in on what we're looking for in a SATC sequel. I'll start:

First of all, I can't deal with any more Big drama. They can't have him screw her over any more, right? Secondly, I hope they find something a little more meaningful for these characters to strive for beyond "labels and love." But! That doesn't mean they have to go plain Jane on the fashion. I want to see fabulous outfits, just without the tacky label dropping. Carrie did a lot of thrift shopping in the series, they should get back to that. Finally, I say "nay" to Carrie having a kid. There just has to be something else she can do.

You all told me you wanted this sequel so now that it's definitely coming, it's your turn to sound off. What do you want it to look like? What could they do with the story at this point?

Would You Want a Sex and the City Sequel?

The stars of the Sex and the City movie were hinting at a sequel before the weekend but now that the film was such a smash success at the box office, the talk for another movie has reached a fever pitch.

Makes you wonder if Sarah Jessica Parker and Michael Patrick King are huddled together as we speak to brainstorm sequel ideas.

Are you on board for a sequel? Or was one movie enough? The ladies are officially middle-aged now, so what new themes would you hope they might tackle?

Warner Bros. Hoping to Fast-Track the SATC Sequel

There was plenty of sequel chatter immediately following the major box office success of the Sex and the City movie, but now certain head honchos are confirming that there is "a lot of energy behind doing another SATC movie." According to EW, "a sequel to the Sex and the City movie is in the early stages of development."

HBO's president of programming group, Michael Lombardo, mentioned that they're "really heartened by the fans' enthusiasm," and a source confirmed that Warner Bros. hopes to fast-track the project, though there is still no deal and no script. In fact, EW notes that "the lead actresses involved are taking a cautious attitude towards another film, not wanting to rush a sequel and risk disappointing their loyal fans."

Tons of you have voted that you'd love to see a SATC sequel, though I have to wonder, what could this sequel be about? What would you like to see in a sequel? Babies? New non-white assistants? Even bigger shoe closets? Sound off below.
