Elle Pays Tribute to Cover Star Women in Hollywood
Elle magazine hosted its annual Women in Hollywood Tribute at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills last night, and gorgeous British women rubbed shoulders with their American counterparts. Cat Deeley kept it classic in an LBD and L'Oreal Paris Legend Award recipient Julie Andrews was elegant in her black floor-length frock. All five November cover stars were in attendance, with Renee Zellweger dazzling in bright red, Emily Blunt cute in a nude number and Katie Holmes daring in a sheer black outfit alongside fellow cover stars Julianne Moore and Zoe Saldana.

Movie Preview: The Private Lives of Pippa Lee
Though the stars of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee were walking the red carpet for the film months ago, the movie still won't hit US theaters until Nov. 27. From the trailer, it doesn't look half-bad, and it features some well-known actors like Robin Wright Penn, Julianne Moore, Alan Arkin, Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder, and Blake Lively.

With all of the glitz and glamour at the Cannes Film Festival, it's refreshing to see a few famous faces opt for the no-makeup makeup look. Don't get me wrong, these ladies attended last night's amFAR Cinema Against AIDS benefit looking lovely, poised and polished for the red carpet, however, they let their inner beauty do most of the work and chose a less is more style. Another Cannes red carpet lit up today, but this time it was about charity instead of movies as the stars came out for Sharon Stone's annual amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS 2009 benefit. After a long night of partying with Brad and Angelina, Joshua Jackson accompanied Diane Kruger to the event, while Paris and Doug represented a different kind of couple. Robert Pattinson didn't need a leading lady on his arm to stand out in another dapper suit and Josh Hartnett also provided some eye candy for the ladies.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie let loose with the rest of the cast of Inglourious Basterds at a party after the big premiere in Cannes yesterday. They looked happy cozying up to each other and chatting with their fellow party-goers, like Quentin Tarantino and Emile Hirsch, though apparently there were eight bodyguards keeping a close eye on the couple at all times. Diane Kruger snuggled up with Joshua Jackson, who skipped the red carpet earlier to let his lady have the spotlight.
