Last summer, we saw a lot of Jake Gyllenhaal in London with his girlfriend Reese Witherspoon as he worked on Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time in the UK. He stars in the movie alongside Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina and Ben Kingsley, and the trailer has just been released! It's not out until May 2010, but check out this action packed preview and let me know - do you think you'll see it, or skip it?

I've been waiting on a trailer for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time for what feels like forever (more specifically, ever since those first photos of Jake all buff and shirtless).

The preview starts off strong, immediately taking us on an adventure quest that doesn't make any attempt to hide its video game origins. The effects are amazing, though I couldn't help snickering the first time Gyllenhaal speaks in a British accent. The good news is that it looks like the movie has some campy elements and a sense of humor along with all that in-your-face flair. We'll have to wait until Memorial Day 2010 for more, but to see the trailer, just read more.

Back in July we caught a preview of what long-haired Jake Gyllenhaal will look like in Prince of Persia, but we were not prepared for what we see here. Jake debuted his super buff bod in Morocco today, taking a break from filming to spend time with his special on-set visitor Reese. Who knew he was hiding all that muscle under his shirts? He's walking a fine line between sexy and silly, so what do you think of Jake as the Prince of Persia - sexy or not?

We got another glance at Reese Witherspoon out in London last night, and this time she was accompanied by yummy Jake Gyllenhaal – who hid under his hood as he left Scott's. The couple were out with Jerry Bruckheimer, who's producing Prince Of Persia – the movie Jake's in town to work on. The delish actor will star alongside some fab British talent in the movie, like Alfred Molina and Sir Ben Kingsley as well as stunning Bond girl Gemma Arterton. I hope the cute twosome of Reese and Jake are in town for a while – it's fun seeing them around some familiar London haunts!

Jake Gyllenhaal to Become the Prince of Persia for Disney

According to Hollywood Reporter, Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton will star together in a film adaptation of the Prince of Persia video game for Disney. Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Mike Newell (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Mona Lisa Smile, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will be a "fantasy adventure" in which "Gyllenhaal will play Dastan, a young prince in sixth century Persia who must join forces with Tamina (Arterton), a feisty and exotic princess, to prevent a villainous nobleman from possessing the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world."

Scruffy Jake Rides On in Jolly Old England

Jake Gyllenhaal looked like he was really enjoying his training for Prince of Persia in London today. The white horse is princely for sure, but we don't know if we quite feel the same way about his scruffy beard and long hair. Either way, it looks like we'll have plenty of action scenes packed with cute Jake galloping around when the fantasy movie finally hits the theaters.

Jake Gyllenhaal looked casual cool out and about in LA over the weekend. It's no playing on the beach with Reese in her bikini, but he was still enjoying his sunny California weather. It's nothing compared for the heat he has in store, however, because Jakey G just landed the starring role in the film adaptation of the Prince of Persia video game. There have been a lot of rumors about who will fill this role, so congrats to Jake for landing the part. There are tons of die hard fans who will be seeing how Jake fills the princely role, but for one woman we're thinking he's already got that spot secured.

Reese Gets Away With Deacon and Ava

Reese Witherspoon headed out of LA to spend her weekend in Ojai with Ava and Deacon. She paid a visit to a local farmers market on Sunday before stopping by a bookstore, where Deacon picked out a book of his own. Reese took a break to relax after making the talk show rounds to promote her new fragrance. She might be called back into duty if she accompanies Jake during his upcoming Prince of Persia promotion, but she always has her country getaway just an hour and a half away if she needs a break from the madness of LA.

Reese Battles Jake For Title of Best Bod

Reese Witherspoon kept her shades on while enjoying a shopping spree in LA earlier today. The petite actress showed off her well toned legs in a Phillip Lim skirt (now on sale!), proof that those daily jogs and sprints around the softball field have done a body good. Reese isn't the only one showing off her muscles, Jake's Prince of Persia trailer was released last week and we're pretty impressed with his famous physique.
