A celebrated American interior designer, and regular on Oprah, recently told ELLE Decor of his dreams to build a tree house as a kid, saying, "At 11 I was sort of a mad Virgo with grandiose plans for a Palladio-Calatrava-Sawyer/Berson masterpiece. We never made it past attempting to hammer the two-by-fours into the trunk, but we had so much fun trying." It sounds like he started honing his design talent at a young age!

Heidi and Seal are thinking pink! When the singer and pop to Leni, 4, Henry, 3, and Johan, 2, appeared on Friday's Oprah show, Seal gave the queen of talk the nod to announce the sex of their impending babe. It's a girl!

I love watching a cheater squirm. Even better when it's a politician, Oprah's instigating it, and his wife is right there. That's pretty much how it went on Oprah today when she interviewed Elizabeth Edwards about her new book, Resilience: Reflections on the Burdens and Gifts of Facing Life's Adversities, which includes life adversities like dealing with an adulterous husband.

The "it" I'm referring to, of course, is Lorena's husband's penis she had just cut off.
It was 1993, and the nation was morbidly curious and nervous-laughing about a story that seemed too crazy to be true. Beautician Lorena Bobbitt, suffering from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) after years of enduring spousal abuse, a forced abortion, and infidelities from her husband John Wayne Bobbitt, snapped one night after he came home drunk and, according to her, raped her.

Finding ways to de-stress, especially during times like these, is critical for your health and your happiness, and according to Dr. Laura Berman, kissing can really help in that crusade. Of course kissing and cuddling makes us feel close to our significant other, but it turns out that couples who engage in that connectedness are actually eight times less likely to be stressed and depressed than couples who don't take that time for each other.

It's good to be Oprah. Well, most of the time. Dreams of infiltrating polygamist compounds come and go, but daytime's queen got to live it, going as she is with a TV crew.

Oprah's attempt to clean house at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy School For Girls after a 2007 scandal didn't save her from another round of shocking headlines coming out of South Africa. This time, the scandal doesn't involve an employee of the school, but rather students engaging in lesbian liaisons.
Seven students from Oprah's all-girls school in South Africa have been suspended for inappropriate behavior toward other students.

I caught up on Monday's Oprah last night and her guest, Steve Harvey, gave us all a glimpse into the male psyche as he answered a bunch of burning questions about love from an audience full of women. One in particular came to the show with a list of 43 requirements that her dream guy must posses, which included his height, his religious beliefs, his bank account, her need for him to be independent, to be family-oriented, honest, trustworthy, romantic, and clean — just to name a few. Steve sure did get a kick out of it, but this woman was serious — she wants to find Mr. Perfect!
