Another Cannes red carpet lit up today, but this time it was about charity instead of movies as the stars came out for Sharon Stone's annual amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS 2009 benefit. After a long night of partying with Brad and Angelina, Joshua Jackson accompanied Diane Kruger to the event, while Paris and Doug represented a different kind of couple. Robert Pattinson didn't need a leading lady on his arm to stand out in another dapper suit and Josh Hartnett also provided some eye candy for the ladies.

After dining with Angelina last night, Brad Pitt got down to business at the Cannes Film Festival this morning. He slipped into a pale suit, scarf and sunnies to join Diane Kruger and Quentin Tarantino for the Inglourious Basterds photocall at the Palais Des Festivals: check out new clips from the film after the jump. The trio were joined by fellow cast and crew members Mike Myers, Christoph Waltz, Melanie Laurent, Lawrence Bender, Eli Roth and Michael Fassbender.

On the day when we celebrate Hollywood's finest, let's also take a moment to celebrate its worst. The 2009 Razzies were presented on Saturday, dinging The Love Guru with the title of Worst Picture and putting three separate awards in Paris Hilton's hands.
Hilton was named both Worst Actress and Worst Supporting Actress, plus she nabbed a share of Worst Screen Couple for The Hottie and the Nottie.

Today rumours reached my ears that Mike Myers is writing Austin Powers 4, a movie that would focus on the relationship between Dr Evil and his son Scott. Now, these two have always been a high point of the original trilogy for me, partly because of a little crush I had on Seth Green, and partly because their relationship is one of the most endearing parts of the whole Austin Powers franchise. With The Love Guru frankly getting bad buzz, do you think a fourth Austin Powers movie could bring Mike Myers back to the forefront of comedy?

My current quiz focuses on trivia about Mike Myers. While The Love Guru may not be his most stellar work, Myers has done a lot of good stuff in the past.

Mike Myers's The Love Guru hits theaters today, and so far the reviews have been flat-out awful. Check out what Buzz has to say here. It's his first non-animated movie in years, but his last film, The Cat and the Hat, wasn't received that well either.

I'm having a hard time with the old axiom "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all" while figuring out how to share my thoughts on the new Mike Myers comedy (and by the way, that categorization is a stretch) The Love Guru. I have to be honest, I've been sitting on this for a few days now, and I'm hard-pressed to find a single decent thing to say about it. There is juvenile, there is crude, there is downright not funny.
