They played exes in Dedication, but this time we'll get to see Mandy Moore and Martin Freeman playing a real married couple in the romantic comedy Swinging With the Finkels. All we know so far is that the two will be joined by Jonathan Silverman and Melissa George, who are playing another husband-and-wife team. And Jerry Stiller will also be in the film.

There hasn't been much of a publicity push for Dedication, a strange little indie romantic dramedy starring Mandy Moore and Billy Crudup, which can sometimes be a very good sign. After all, the last two movies I saw with Moore in them (Because I Said So, License to Wed) enjoyed major marketing pushes and then turned out to be some of the year's most embarrassing disappointments. For Moore's sake, I hope Dedication is a quality movie so we can see that it's not the actress that was the problem — it was the material.

Some of our favorite actresses from the big screen got dressed up for the theater in NY last night at the opening of The Country Girl on Broadway. The show stars Morgan Freeman, Frances McDormand and Peter Gallagher, who were all out afterwards to celebrate their big night with the likes of Julia Roberts and Amy Adams. Natalie Portman and Kirsten Dunst both looked perfectly content to be flying solo without their new — one rumored, one real — men.

Well, not too many surprises here — one of the most buzzed-about films of the season (and on my list of personal favorites), Up in the Air, will be well represented at the Golden Globe Awards next month. Jason Reitman's film scored six nominations, including Best Director, Best Actor (yay Clooney!), and not one but two Best Supporting Actress nods for Vera Farmiga and Anna Kendrick.
Of course, it also earned a best dramatic film nomination along with Inglourious Basterds, which was right on its heels with four nominations of its own.

It takes place on January 17, and John's fiance Emily Blunt was nominated for Best Motion Picture Actress (Drama), with Hugh Laurie and Carey Mulligan also among the Brits nominated!

The Grammys may seem like one of the longest shows of Award Season, but last night they mixed it up with some exciting performances. The show kicked off with U2 starring Bono, but the absence of Chris Brown and Rihanna was quickly felt. Justin Timberlake, Al Green, Keith Urban and Boyz II Men all stepped in to form a hodge podge second performance of the night while the young couple dealt with assault allegations and drama.
