Regis Philbin Puts an iPhone on His Holiday Wish List

Well well well. Back in early 2008, Kelly Ripa tried to get Regis Philbin to join the iPhone club, but he just wouldn't budge. And after almost two years of confessing her love for her iPhone, good ole' Regis has finally decided it's time to ask Santa for an iPhone - which he says he wants to fill with "thousands of apps." I think once he gets the hang of the iPhone, he'll love it. I mean, the guy does know what a search engine is, so maybe he isn't a total Luddite after all? Regardless, just listening to the adorable duo banter back and forth about tech is pretty priceless.

With a lil practice and some love from mama, wee ones can follow most any routine (or lack thereof) that their mother sets up for them, even when it comes to sleeping. Parents on the go know that a crib is just a crib when it comes to getting some shut-eye. Sure tots may like their own bed best but if they are accustomed to the jet-setting life, chances are they will crash wherever a sheet and mattress can be found. The multi-talented actress, songwriter, singer and mother Minnie Driver stopped by Live with Regis and Kelly to chat about her newest flick, Motherhood. The mother of 13-month-old Henry chatted about the tot's ability to snooze on the road. Her travel has made hotel closets the norm for the wee one's resting spot.

Padma Lakshmi Dishes on Her Bump With Anderson and Kelly

Instead of talking about food dishes, Padma Lakshmi was caught dishing on her own personal life as she sat down and discussed her pregnancy with Kelly Ripa and Anderson Cooper on Live With Regis and Kelly. Guest host Anderson congratulated the vision in purple on her recently announced pregnancy, which got the mom-to-be talking about the wee baby bump of hers. The celebrity foodie said:

Now that I've told everyone, I think my body has relaxed and my stomach has just said all right, that's it. I really wasn't showing that much . . . in the last four days, I've just really got this buddha belly, but so far, so good.

A veteran of pregnancies, Kelly said, "It's true, once you tell people about it, it pronounces itself." Did you feel like you popped out when you told people you were pregnant?

After admitting he's only seen one episode of their TLC series, Regis was pretty definite in his opinion that the couple's very public breakup will twist into a Cinderella story. Diane Kruger Likes Being One of the Boys

Diane Kruger was up early this morning in NYC for an appearance on Live With Regis and Kelly. She's dedicated to getting out there to promote Inglourious Basterds with premieres across the globe, though she also finds time to unwind by partying with Brad and Angelina. At a recent press junket, Diane gushed about her admiration for Brad and talked about how comfortable she was working with him - check out the video of her interview here. She also had lots to say about Quentin Tarantino and drinking with the cast in Berlin. Here's more:

On Inglourious's male-oriented cast : "It's fun being one of the boys. It's fun to play a character that is tough and gets down and dirty and not to be this precious little piece that sits in the corner and just stands by the action."
On filming the movie in Berlin: "It [was] nice to be able to go home, my family [was] two hours away. I love the German food! Every Friday on Quentin's sets, the crew drinks and everybody goes. There's a bar we would go to all the time called Tarantino's. The owner is Quentin's biggest fan, the whole place is filled with memorabilia. Of course, he's never met Quentin. One night Quentin walks in, Brad Pitt right behind him with the entire cast. The guy nearly had a heart attack. I mean, can you imagine?"
On what she's most grateful for: "That I'm still here. That I'm sitting here today. Who knew? Knock on wood. It's been a journey and finally things are turning around, I think."

On auditioning for Tarantino: "The tough part is to get the job. He's one of the last directors in Hollywood who gets away with only hiring the actors he absolutely wants for a part - he would not have hired Brad Pitt if he wasn't Aldo Raine. It was hard for me to get the job, he had someone else in mind. He didn't believe I was German. It's like 'for god's sake, what's next?' He saw every actress in Germany, so you know you have to deliver in the room. Once I got hired, it was a walk in the park. I mean it was a very challenging part and there were hard days at the office. I haven't been allowed, in America at least, to play quite such a strong, tough, fierce woman. His dialogue is great, but it's not easy. You have to read it a few times. It's not your typical Hollywood shebang."
On her favorite TV shows: "Mad Men is my favorite show. I do like Fringe, of course. I'm a little biased, I wasn't going to bring that up."
On working with Josh: "He's pretty busy right now, so I don't think that for the next couple years there's going to be any projects between the two of us. I want to be one of the gooey monsters that gets killed on Fringe. It would be so fun."

Ashton Kutcher Explains Twitter to Kelly Ripa

I normally find Live! With Regis and Kelly quite entertaining - especially with the banter between co-hosts - but yesterday my favorite celeb geek king, Ashton Kutcher, not only joined Kelly Ripa in a hosting chair, but also he brought along his beloved MacBook Pro. . . so things got really interesting. Within minutes, Ashton was not only divulging details about his Twitter obsession, but he got computer-phobe Kelly tweeting as well!

Regis Hates the Term Knocked Up, Do You?

This morning on Live!, Kelly teased Regis because he cringed when the duo were interviewing Katherin Heigl and the older host made reference to the actress's pregnancy movie. He admitted he doesn't like the term "knocked up" or feel comfortable saying it. There are many ways to say a woman is with child from "she's expecting" to "they're pregnant," does this particular term bother you?

Megan Gets a Little Help Finding Her Rose Boy

Transformers 2 is already raking it in at the box office and for better or worse Megan's sexy portrayal in the film is sure to help, even if most of you don't think she's the next Angelina Jolie. Her costar Shia made a fan's day this morning, and Megan might have a chance to do the same. Kodak is offering $5,000 to the first person who finds the boy she accidentally snubbed so that they can arrange a reunion.

Nicole Brings Her House to Regis and Kelly's

Nicole Richie was decked out in House of Harlow jewelry for her appearance this morning on Regis and Kelly. She and her family arrived in Miami just last night, but Nicole seemed well rested as she took to Twitter before the show to express her excitement. Nicole glowed in her baby bump-friendly maxi dress for the first stop on her short promotional tour, and next up is a meet and greet with fans at a department store.

Ben Affleck Plays Along For Morning Television

Ben Affleck had a busy morning with visits to both The Today Show and Live With Regis and Kelly, where he signed autographs and posed for photos with fans after taping his segment. He's taking a break from the Massachusetts set of The Company Men and spending time in NYC to promote State of Play before it opens tomorrow. In his chat with Matt Lauer, Ben opened up about researching his politician role in Congress, postponing his project with Matt Damon, and what he's doing to prepare for his young daughters eventually dating.
