After I got over the fact that he-of-the-sparkling-vampire-fame would next hit the big screen as Salvador Dalí, I started to warm to the actual premise of Little Ashes. The story of how a young Dalí befriended two other seminal 20th-century Spanish artists is actually very intriguing.
Three brilliant minds coming together to push their ideas about art and politics beyond conventional boundaries in the midst of an increasingly conservative (and fascist) society is potent stuff.

Since Twilight, Robert Pattinson has found himself pushed rather quickly into the limelight, enticing a huge young fanbase of followers. In the movie Little Ashes —which he made before he became Edward Cullen — he stars as the young Salvador Dali, and I'd like to know if you'll be heading to the cinemas to see it, so check out the trailer below and let me know what you think!
You can see Robert in the indie flick at UK cinemas from May 8 — will you see it or will you skip it?

The tag line for Little Ashes declares that this is a story that has gone untold — until now. The film follows three of Spain's great creative minds in the tumultuous setting of 1920s Madrid. Robert Pattinson plays Salvador Dali, Javier Beltran is Federico García Lorca, and Matthew McNulty takes the role of Luis Buñuel in this tale of art, lust and history.

For the past five years, Wes Anderson's wide fan base has been waiting for his first fully animated film. Would his adaption of Roald Dahl's children's book, Fantastic Mr. Fox appease the same crowd that holds Bottle Rocket and The Royal Tenenbaums near and dear to their hearts? The answer is an emphatic yes, and the best news is that you don't even have to enjoy Anderson's other work to fall in love with this film.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were in Bella and Edward mode as they filmed a car scene for Eclipse outside Forks Police Station in Vancouver yesterday. They looked safe and sound surrounded by crew on set, following Jackson Rathbone's accident earlier in the week, but Robert finds watching himself on screen a painful experience. Speaking about not watching himself in Little Ashes, he said: "It's like self-flagellation, so why would I bother?"
