Who Wore It Better? Cobalt Silk Marchesa Mini

It's stiff competition when it's between the model-like designer of the dress and an actual model. Alas, we must decide. Both beauties wore this cobalt strapless silk wool dress with draped bodice and kept everything to a minimum, to let the dress shine. Stunning earrings were adorned by both, as well as neutral pumps - though Jacquetta's sandals have a slight gold sheen. We don't witness Georgina's handbag, but Jacquetta's embellished gunmetal Marchesa clutch looks pretty cool. Who wore it best?

Anthropologie's November catalog is a surefire way to get in the holiday spirit. British model Jacquetta Wheeler - dressed in everything from pretty lace to cozy sweaters - is seen frolicking in (faux) snow. It's all so romantic. I can't help but be consumed by the impressive styling, and I'm sure CasaSugar is mesmerized by the rustic scene. Granted, not everyone wears shorts in the snow, but I adore Jacquetta's outfit here; a little checkers, a little wool, equals a lot of charm. Experience it for yourself.

Stars Vogue For Classic Style at Bulgari Charity Reception

LBDs were the order of the day for the Vogue Bulgari Charity Reception at the Saatchi Gallery in London last night. Peaches Geldof, Natalie Imbruglia and Bonnie Wright all kept their outfits classic and simple at the party to support Save The Children's Rewrite the Future campaign as part of Bulgari jewellery's 125th birthday celebrations, while James Corden brought a pop of colour with his bright jacket and shoes as he hung out with pal Dominic Cooper. The newly blonde Peaches provided some entertainment later in the evening by taking to the decks.

I know, Spring has just begun, but the fashion world is always a step, or should I say a season, ahead of the masses. Designers have started choosing faces for their Fall campaigns. Steven Meisel will be snapping Madonna for her second debut for Louis Vuitton; Frida Giannini has chosen Jacquetta Wheeler as the face for her Gucci campaign, which will be shot in London; and Burberry snagged budding stylista Emma Watson for its campaign. Behind the Seams: Missoni Store Opening

Missoni held a star studded party last night to open their first London boutique on Sloane Street. Angela and Margherita Missoni hosted the soiree which boasted guests like Kate Nash, Jade Jagger, Gemma Arterton the friendly and fashionable Jade Parftit who all wore beautiful dresses from the Spring range. Katie Grand broke the pattern by arriving in a bright pink fur jacket from the Autumn Dolce & Gabbana collection which was certainly eye catching. Missoni is such a classic brand so it's great to have it represented here in London, I can't wait to check out the new boutique.

London Fashion Week A/W 2009: Qasimi

The sun is shining brightly for the second day of fashion week as BellaUK and I headed to St Mary's church in Marylebone. Qasimi was a surprise treat last season as the impressive designs wowed a packed room, so I was excited to see the new line. Autumn '09 was even more astounding as some of the biggest names in catwalk fashion presented the dramatic gothic collection. The model list read as a who's who of British fashion from '80s model Yasmin Le Bon, to BFC member Erin O'Connor to doll-like Lily Cole via a range of other beauties including, Jade Parfitt and Jasmine Guinness.

The fame of the models did not overshadow the clothes which were beautifully sculpted couture like pieces with plenty of drapes, folds and volume. There was a distinct Victoriana theme (possibly influenced by the upcoming movie The Young Victoria) with exaggerated bustles, corsetry and ladylike high necklines.

The designs were given a contemporary twist, of course, by the use of leather and short hemlines. The theatrical ensembles were rounded off with equally as theatrical millinery, none more so than on the final model who initially concealed her face with a feathered hat. This was the pièce de résistance of the event as classic model Carmen Dell'Orifice returned to the catwalk. If it's not already obvious – I loved this show!

Behind The Seams: Model.Live Launch Party

Remember Madeline, Austria, and Cato from Vogue's new modeling reality show, Model.Live? The online show is now four episodes in, but last night at the Bowery Hotel in NYC, Vogue.TV and IMG hosted a celebration for the launch. Of course, the models and now-reality-starlets showed up looking gorgeous in different variations of LBDs. Cato (right) is my favorite; who's yours?

Actress Becki Newton was also there, as were famous models Jacquetta Wheeler, Kristy Hume, Elettra Rossellini Wiedemann, and socialite Olivia Palermo. As you can imagine, there was lots of posing, smiling, and socializing. Sounds like my kind of party.

Jacquetta Wheeler Comes Back to Blighty

Welcome back Jacquetta! At the end of last week, long-limbed beauty Jacquetta Wheeler said goodbye to her New York friends in Soho at a meal to celebrate her upcoming move back to London. Style.com reports that after seven years in Manhattan, Brit model Jacquetta is coming home. Later that evening, while dancing with friends, Lou Doillon and Lily Donaldson, at the Rose Bar in the Gramercy Park Hotel, Jacquetta was heard asking her table "Wait a minute, am I making the right decision? ...Well, I guess I can always move back."

We hope not, London could do with a little Jacquetta-style right now. This girl always looks radiant and has a messy, grown-out crop that could rival Agyness Deyn's. Plus her makeup looks perpetually polished, without being overdone.

Famously discovered by Mario Testino, Jacquetta was just a schoolgirl on the way to the hairdressers, in 1998, when Testino stopped her in the street and promptly arranged for Jacquetta to star in a ten-page fashion shoot for French Vogue. She has since graced the catwalks for all the top names and starred in major campaigns for Gucci, Prada, YSL, Burberry and Chanel. Karl Lagerfeld, once called her "one of the greatest models working today. Her face is like a Roman vase - not a standard beauty, but a modern anti-beauty."
