Word on the street is that the next vampire project will be a reboot of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. In 1994, Rice's Interview With the Vampire was adapted for the big screen with Tom Cruise in the role of the vampire Lestat de Lioncort, "a nobleman-turned-vampire in the late 18th century." Later, in 2002, Stuart Townsend played Lestat in the movie Queen of the Damned.

The former New Orleans home of Anne Rice, author of Interview With the Vampire and the Vampire Chronicles series, is on the market for $3.7 million. The 1850s home has a transitional style, with both Greek Revival and Italianate elements. It boasts double galleries with Corinthian and Ionic columns, massive antique beveled mirrors in the double parlors, antique landscape murals in the dining room, gorgeous millwork, and exquisite plated ceilings.

Did you happen to catch Oprah's big exclusive interview with Twilight's Stephenie Meyer on Friday? Since I'm gearing up for the New Moon premiere (this Friday!), I was excited to hear Meyer talk about the movie and was excited to learn any insider NM secrets before its big debut. Being a Mac-addict myself, I couldn't help but notice that Meyer is the proud owner of a 17-inch MacBook Pro — which by the way has a glossy screen, something I don't think I could get use to!
