The cast of Inglourious Basterds took home the Best Ensemble Cast at this evening's SAGs, and they were soon off for a pit stop in the press room. Diane Kruger, Christoph Waltz, BJ Novak, Omar Doom, Jacky Ido and Eli Roth were there to talk about their latest honor, though their costar Brad Pitt skipped out on the event. They did, apparently, make sure to keep him in the loop.

Now that awards season is fully revving up, all sorts of nominations are coming out, e.g. the Independent Spirit Awards announcement two weeks ago or tomorrow's Golden Globes list. (Check in early for that, as I'll be posting all of the nods).

It was an Inglourious Basterds reunion last night as some of the cast members got together in LA last night for their DVD release party. BJ Novak, Melanie Laurent, and Quentin Tarantino were there along with Diane Kruger, who arrived with boyfriend Joshua Jackson following their romantic weekend together in NYC. Despite their evening fun, Diane was up early this morning to announce the nominees for the 2010 Golden Globe Awards — make sure to check out the full list over at Buzz!

Meet the Inglorious Bastards, er, the Inglourious Basterds: a quintessential Quentin Tarantino clan (see also Reservoir Dogs) helmed by an accent-affected Brad Pitt. Pitt, who plays a sort of Tennessean hillbilly, is the ringleader of the group of mostly Jewish-American soldiers whose aim is to kill — specifically by scalping — Nazis. It's as disgusting as it sounds, but the film is not all gory and the Basterds are only one in a series of interwoven stories.

Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds announced yesterday that it's set to premiere and be up for competition at Cannes Film Festival in May. Vanity Fair just released new photos of the film's cast and crew, including Diane Kruger, Brad Pitt, and Quentin himself. The trailer that was released in February seemed interesting enough, but it's unclear what the final product will be like.

Last night was a big night for the cool cast of Inglourious Basterds. At the New York premiere, co-hosted by Hugo Boss, a wild mix of Hollywood and fashion folk came out to support Quentin and Co. We already saluted Diane Kruger in her sparkling Miu Miu, but really, there was a festive mix of glam, casual, city, and street.

It was another star-studded evening celebrating Inglourious Basterds at a screening in NYC last night. Quentin Tarantino and the movie's stars — minus Brad Pitt, who is apparently back in France with his family — gathered with some celebrity friends at the Cinema Society event. Lindsay Lohan, who has been working with Quentin's friend Robert Rodriguez on Machete, hit the red carpet, as did Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford and Sebastian Stan.
