PopSugarUK Meets The New Moon Cast Part Three: Robert on Music, Immortality and Harry Potter Versus Twilight!

Robert Pattinson is back in Los Angeles ahead of New Moon's premiere tonight, bringing his promotional tour of Europe to a close. I was lucky enough to meet Robert, Kristen and Taylor when they visited London, and Rob looked gorgeous in a white shirt and suit, which he later wore to the UK fan event. I've already brought you Rob and Kristen's response to questions about their relationship, as well as the pair's revelations about their kissing scenes, and now I've got the lowdown on Rob's future music plans, what he thinks about immortality versus ageing, and the differences between working on Harry Potter and Twilight:

On whether he's concerned Twilight will overshadow his music:
"I want to do gigs again, and I guess the only way to do gigs is you have to get an album to silence everyone and then you can play as many gigs as you want. I really miss it. I am really afraid of being overshadowed by it. That's why I haven't done any gigs or released anything for ages. I think it does make you set your standards higher, because you need to overshadow this massive thing, so it's tough. You've got to be winning Grammys before you do another open-mic [laughs]."

On whether immortality would be a good thing or a bad thing:
"It depends. If I stayed my exact same mental capacity then I would not want to be immortal [laughs]. I don't know. I wouldn't want to be considered young forever. I like the innate wisdom that comes with being old. People just think you know more, and treat you with a little bit more respect. I'd like to be able to just choose however old I am whenever I wanted."
On the differences between working on the Harry Potter and Twilight franchises:
"When I went into Harry Potter it was the fourth one, everybody knew each other. The crew had been working together for 10 years... people had married each other! Everything was so well oiled. Starting Twilight, I don't know if it would be like the first Harry Potter, but it's interesting to see there's so many different warring energies. The studio knew they had a trilogy at the time so it seemed like people think that certain criteria need to met to set up that kind of franchise. Catherine obviously had an Indie background, me and Kristen really had strong people, so it was a very volatile set in a lot of ways. But the success of the first one made everything clear for the second."

Throughout the past few days, I've been bringing you witchy how-tos, from Wicked's Elphaba to The Chronicle of Narnia's White Witch, and now let's get in on the Harry Potter action, with everyone's favorite quirky, kind-hearted witch, Luna Lovegood. With lofty physical characteristics, such as silvery-gray-toned eyes, waist-length dirty blond hair, slight brows, and a dreamy look in her eyes, Luna's often perceived as strange - even a bit loony - to those around her.

To get her unique look, wear light contacts, a pink cheek and lip stain, along with one seriously long, slightly disheveled blond wig. Finish off your costume with some radish earrings, a Ravenclaw scarf or tie, or butterbeer necklace. An optimistic, matter-of-fact disposition will make you truly authentic. Broadway Business Beckons For Daniel Radcliffe

Broadway beckons again for Daniel Radcliffe, as it's been announced that he'll take the lead as producers look at staging a musical revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on Broadway.

Dan's the first actor cast in the production which will be put together in December for a reading and from there they will decide on whether it will go on to become a full production. The script is about, "the rise of a crafty window cleaner as he follows the advice of a self-help manual to connive his way up through the ranks of the World Wide Wickets Co. and get the girl in the process."

If it all goes ahead it will be Daniel's return to Broadway after his debut in the 2008 revival of Equus which transferred to New York from London. Would you go and see Dan in a musical on Broadway?

Brit Volturi Jamie Previews New Moon Ahead of Harry Potter

Jamie Campbell Bower was in Spain over the weekend for a New Moon preview at the 2009 Sitges Film Festival. British up-and-coming actor Jamie plays Volturi leader Caius in the second film of the Twilight saga, and he's got the whole hand-through-big-hair actions down pat just like his Brit costar Robert Pattinson, who was busy with Kristen Stewart in Vancouver over the weekend taking a break from filming Eclipse. Jamie and Robert also have Harry Potter in common, as Jamie plays Gellert Grindlewald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

More Harry Potter Fun Coming Spring 2010

Harry Potter fans, rejoice! The theme park we were promised so long ago is almost a reality. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is finally set to open at Universal Studios' Islands of Adventure in Florida next Spring. To refresh your memory, we're talking about a full-on microcosm of everything Potter: hippogriff rides, butterbeers at the Hog's Head Pub, wand selection at Ollivander's and a trip to Hogwarts. Basically, a dream come true for fanatics - and you thought the movies were fun.

I can already see myself exploring the villages like a kid in a candy store, spending obscene amounts of money on souvenirs like my own Nimbus 2000 (I like to keep it old school) and a sneakoscope. Call it Harry Potter geekdom at its finest, but I'm sold. Even if you're not a die-hard fan, the combination of fun and whimsy should be enough to please anyone. Disney World better watch out, because this could be the new happiest place on earth. Are you guys as excited as I am?

Daniel, Tom and Lily Make Time For Cricket

Lily Allen returned to The Oval on Saturday to watch England play Australia in the Ashes test match, before she headed off to perform at V Festival. She shared her views in the Test Match Special commentary box, as did Harry Potter pals Tom Felton and Daniel Radcliffe on Sunday. Lily watched the play on Sunday from a bus in Staffordshire, and correctly predicted England's win as well as man of the match before tweeting her congratulations to the team. Congratulations from Sugar UK to the England squad too!
