Behold, another project from a Friends alum: David Schwimmer will direct the upcoming film Trust, a drama about two parents dealing with the aftermath when their daughter becomes the target of an online sexual predator. Clive Owen and Catherine Keener will play the parents; newcomer Liana Liberato will star as their daughter.
This will be Schwimmer's second time in the director's chair, though the subject matter is a far cry from Run Fatboy Run.

A Friends spinoff movie appears to be closer than ever after comments made over the weekend, by James Michael-Tyler who played Gunther in the hit show. He said, "Friends: The Movie is definitely on. I still keep in touch with a lot of the cast and they say that they are really keen."

Kate Winslet was out in New York last night for a special screening of hubby Sam Mendes' new movie Away We Go. It stars John Krasinski, Maya Rudolph and Allison Janney, and is the story of a couple expecting their first child, who go on a journey around the US to find the perfect place to raise a family. My girl Buzz has a preview of the movie for you before it comes out in the UK in September.

Last night H&M in New York held a launch party for Matthew Williamson's Spring Collection, coaxing out celebs including Lucy Liu, Mary-Kate Olsen, Alexis Bledel and Helena Christensen. I adore Mary-Kate's indigo coverup, what a gorgeous colour! Bar Refaeli, David Schwimmer and a shorts-clad Adrien Brody also attended the launch, which took place at The Majesty.

Will Smith brought his kids Jaden and Willow to support their mom Jada at the LA premiere of her Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa yesterday. The happy foursome posed for photos while Ben Stiller and his wife Christine made it a date and left their kids at home. Fergie was also on hand to walk the green carpet, though her big smile may have more to do with her wedding than the movie.

The past day was all about the parties along with the clothes at Fashion Week. Eva Mendes — who it's your last chance to submit interview questions for! — was having fun at a bash for La Mer, while a dramatically made up Keira Knightley held court with Anna Wintour at a Cinema Society screening of The Duchess.

The Duchess had a special screening in New York last night, in association with The Cinema Society and — how fitting for Fashion Week — Vogue magazine. As I've described, the costumes in the movie are amazing, but last night both Keira Knightley and model Coco Rocha were working pretty gothic looks on the red carpet. Keira's famous pout was out in full swing as she posed with editor Anna Wintour, until friendly face Dominic Cooper arrived and made her giggle — BellaUK has all the goss on how to get her smoky eyes!

After the success of the Sex and the City movie, we weren't that surprised to hear the rumor resurface that Friends could be the next TV show to hit the big screen. There's been talk of the project for years, but Jennifer Aniston supposedly hadn't expressed enough interest in doing the film until now. Friends is still one of our favorite shows ever, but do you think it's a good idea to make it a movie?
