Recast Back to the Future and Win a Prize!

Every Wednesday on BuzzSugar, I post a Recast challenge, where I ask you to choose new actors for a classic TV show or movie. The reader who submits the best cast wins a BuzzSugar t-shirt!

This 1985 sci-fi comedy should be tons of fun to recast, since the characters are so quirky, and the movie is such a favorite for many children of the '80s (well, and '70s, and '90s...). If you could recast Back to the Future today with new actors, who would you pick?

I have a sneaking suspicion that many of you will be itching to cast Shia LaBeouf in the part of Marty McFly, which might well be fitting, though I wonder who else could do well with the part. And who could play the zany Doc Brown? Or Marty's parents, Lorraine and George? And then, of course, there's Biff the bully.

Emma Bunton and Peaches Celebrate Children's Champions

Host Emma Bunton was joined by lots of celebrities for the Children's Champions 2009 Awards at London's Grosvenor House last night. Peaches Geldof took time off from her Fashion Week jetsetting to attend the ceremony, which honours people who work with children. Danielle Lloyd also went floor-length and managed to smile, having revealed this week she was a victim of domestic violence. My girl Bella UK wants to know do you love or hate Danielle's colourful eye shadow? Gabriella Cilmi's cute tie dress increased her fashion credentials after she was one of the worst dressed at the Brits. Tell Fab UK who you think was best dressed last night.

Sugar Bits: Celeb BB Producers Anxious To Avoid Race Row

Stars going into the Celebrity Big Brother house have been coached to avoid a race row similar to the one that embroiled Jade Goody, Jo O'Meara and Danielle Lloyd during the last series. - Guardian
Yes Man, starring Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel, is number one in the UK box office. The film is based on the book by Danny Wallace. Bedtime Stories starring Adam Sandler and Russell Brand went in at number two, and Australia went into the chart at number three. - BBC
Christopher Dean has been told he can't perform in this year's Dancing On Ice after he injured himself while filming the Christmas special. He will still take on the role of mentor, and hopefully the doctors will give him the all clear while the new series is being aired. - The Sun
Mia Farrow's adopted daughter Lark Previn died in hospital on Christmas day. She had been fighting an illness for some time and the cause of death has not been released. - Daily Mail
Alex James, of soon to be reunited band Blur, has spoken out saying he doesn't think Amy Winehouse or Pete Doherty will live past 2010. He said, "I'd be surprised if Pete and Amy live to see the decade out. I've been in situations where my best friends have been killing themselves (with drugs) and they won't listen." - Mirror

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks everyone looks like someone (or thing) else. Some folks over at rivalfish keep seeing resemblances between sports mascots and stars. What do you think?
