On Saturday night Steven Soderburgh's latest movie Che premiered at the London Film Festival. Benicio Del Toro plays the title role of Che Guevera in the biopic and he showed up looking very handsome in his suit alongside Steven. Also among the guests at the special screening was actor John Hurt.

Michelle Williams walked the red carpet at the Cannes premiere of new Scott Speedman/Rachel Blanchard movie Adoration and stole the spotlight in her gorgeous sparkly cream dress. Having spent lots of time with her beautiful Matilda over the past few months while they've adjusted to life without Heath, Michelle is slowly returning into the public sphere – and reminding me of her awesome personal style. I always love seeing what Michelle's going to pull out on the red carpet.

It was Madonna's turn to shine at the Cannes Film Festival yesterday as her labour of love I Am Because We Are premiered. She looked gorgeous in a sequinned, (slightly transparent) monochrome fringed dress and walked the red carpet with Guy. She then posed for some shots with her friend Sharon Stone, and they seemed to have a rather animated conversation!

An extremely politically correct cartoon-family is coming to a television near you. Mike Judge of King of the Hill and Beavis and Butt-head fame has created a new show — The Goode Family — which premiers on ABC tonight.

Penelope Cruz hopped from the Rome set of Nine to Madrid, where she walked the green carpet at last night's Goya Awards alongside her sister Monica and Benicio del Toro. Benicio took home the Best Actor statue for Che, and Penelope was crowned Best Supporting Actress for Vicky Cristina Barcelona. She's no stranger to the podium at the Goyas, but she was still deeply touched by the honor.
