Jimmy Choo designer Tamara Mellon brought together some friends in Hollywood last night to celebrate the launch of her new collection for H&M. Stars like Olivia Wilde, Rashida Jones, Whitney Port and the Hilton sisters posed for photos with Tamara on the carpet before heading in to see a special performance from MIA. Jimmy Choo is known for their shoes, but this line will also include Tamara's first-ever clothing collection and many of the stars were sporting her designs for their evening out.

With only a few weeks to go until the worldwide launch of Jimmy Choo for H&M, Tamara Mellon threw a party in West Hollywood to show off some of the key pieces. Cat Deeley attended the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards earlier this week in a sexy zip front frock. The English presenter supported a British design house wearing a Temperley London number with lace detailing. The Crimson dress (£795) is part of the Autumn collection and Cat teamed it with studded gladiator sandals and a funky clutch.

The Elle Women in Hollywood Awards brought out some of the town's biggest names last night. The ceremony was held to coincide with the magazine's similarly themed upcoming issue, and cover girl Katie Holmes hit the cream carpet to show her support. Apparently Suri helped Katie select her all-black outfit, and the proud mom even opened up about their adventures in Boston.

Elle magazine hosted its annual Women in Hollywood Tribute at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills last night, and gorgeous British women rubbed shoulders with their American counterparts. Cat Deeley kept it classic in an LBD and L'Oreal Paris Legend Award recipient Julie Andrews was elegant in her black floor-length frock. All five November cover stars were in attendance, with Renee Zellweger dazzling in bright red, Emily Blunt cute in a nude number and Katie Holmes daring in a sheer black outfit alongside fellow cover stars Julianne Moore and Zoe Saldana.

Cat Deeley was showing off some moves in Manchester yesterday as she began filming So You Think You Can Dance? The TV presenter has been stateside for a long time, so it was great to see her back on home turf. She gave us a lesson in layering up for the Autumn in a plaid Mulberry coat (£1150), skinny jeans and Chloe buckle boots (£825).

Cat Deeley is back in the UK to host our version of the American TV show So You Think You Can Dance. She will join judges Arlene Phillips and Nigel Lythgoe on the BBC's version of the dance talent contest, which she also hosts in America. The live finals will air on Saturday nights in January, and Cat is already meeting the hopefuls at auditions in London this week.

Lots of celebs had fun at the Emmy Awards last night, and the good times continued around LA with various afterparties. The HBO bash brought out the stars of Entourage, with Jerry Ferrara cuddling up to girlfriend Jamie-Lynn Sigler as AnnaLynne McCord smiled for the cameras. January Jones struck a pose on ET's red carpet, and inside big winners Jon Cryer and Toni Collette chatted with their newly-acquired gold.

The stars arrived looking glam last night, and they were all there to see who would receive the statuettes at the Primetime Emmy Awards! 30 Rock and Mad Men were both big winners last night, taking the top Comedy Series and Drama Series trophies. Kristin Chenoweth was thrilled and tearful as she took to the podium to accept her Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy award for Pushing Daisies while Toni Collette won Best Actress in a Comedy for her amazing turn in The United States Of Tara.

Stars of the small screen flocked to the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles yesterday for the Primetime Emmy Awards. Our own Brits Cat Deeley and Ricky Gervais joined their American pals for the glamourous ceremony, which saw the guys stick to black suits and the women dazzle in an array of colouful dresses. Cat went for a pale floor-length number, while Gossip Girl buddies Leighton Meester and Blake Lively took opposite approaches with white and red.
