Ally McBeal Is Coming to DVD - For Real!

Rejoice, Ally McBeal fans! The series is finally coming to DVD (Region 1 DVD, at long last). It was a rumor a couple weeks ago, and now Popwatch alerted me to the fact that Amazon has listed both the first season's DVD set as well as the complete series DVD set. Though Fox hasn't yet issued a release date for these goodies, they are both available for pre-order right now.

This absolutely makes my day. I don't even care that there's no release date yet, just the fact that this is really happening is enough for me. I already own one of the soundtracks (go Vonda!) and The Official Guide (yup, this was one of my coffee table books for a long time, because I am that cool) and I cannot wait to be able to watch Ally any day, anytime on my TV.

What do you think, Ally fans? Which episodes are you most looking forward to seeing again? One of my very favorites is when Barry White guest stars and sings "My First, My Last, My Everything" while the whole gang does John Cage's dance together. Brings a tear to my eye! After over seven years of dating, Harrison Ford decided to make things more official. People reports he proposed to Calista over Valentine's weekend while vacationing with Calista's son Liam. No wedding date has been set but we look forward to seeing Calista as a beautiful bride. Congrats to the happy couple!

TV Tonight: Brothers and Sisters

Have you seen any of the promos for tonight's two-hour special episode of Brothers and Sisters? They're awfully intense, promising a birth, a death, and more than the average amount of Walker family drama.

In this episode - or, rather, these two episodes - Trish goes into labor with Kitty and Robert's baby. It's a big day for the couple, and not just for that reason: Robert's also planning on making public his decision to run for governor of California. Meanwhile, Rebecca continues to rekindle her relationship with her father, and she ends up discovering some more disturbing information that could destroy Ojai Foods and maybe even send a Walker to prison.

Apparently, this episode is a tearjerker and a surefire Emmy submission for Rob Lowe - but I don't want to say any more than that. Instead, I'll just be tuning in tonight to see what all goes down. What about you? To check out a promo for the episode, just read more.
