Jessica Steps Out to Join an Extraordinary Premiere

Jessica Simpson joined the stars of Extraordinary Measures last night for their LA premiere. She sported a big bouffant on the red carpet, dressed in black just like Keri Russell. Calista Flockhart sparkled in gold on Harrison Ford's arm, looking happy together following their Sunday of posing at the Golden Globes. Brendan Fraser was on hand to complete the film's trio of actors, and he met up with Keri and Harrison once inside to smile for additional photos. Keri has been hard at work over the last week plugging their film with appearances on both The Early Show and The Late Show, and we'll see if her promotional efforts pay off when the film opens in theaters this Friday.

Gorgeous Gowns Despite the Grey Day at the Golden Globes

It may have been raining on the Golden Globes red carpet last night, but that didn't stop all the female stars showing up in some gorgeous gowns. There were plenty of bright colours as Sandra Bullock and Leona Lewis went for purple, Diane Kruger wore a beautiful hot pink number, Cameron Diaz looked ravishing in red, while Ginnifer Goodwin looked striking in purple. Greys and nude tones were also popular, with Anna Kendrick, Drew Barrymore, Chloe Sevigny among those sporting pale shades.

Anything but basic black was, as usual, a big hit - Glee's Lea Michele wore an eye-catching dress, Glenn Close sparkled in black, Julia Roberts went for a more casual look, while January Jones matched hers to her headband. Carey Mulligan was accompanied by her mum on the red carpet, while Joshua Jackson was a gent and held an umbrella up for Diane as she posed for photos. Drew Barrymore and Justin Long shared a smooch, before she greeted George Clooney with a hug. Meanwhile, Heidi Klum and Seal looked to the heavens - the must have accessory was definitely an umbrella on the red carpet last night!

Trend Alert: Nudes and Flesh Tones at the Golden Globes

Hollywood has had a busy weekend with two major award shows bringing together some of the biggest names in the industry. The red carpet for the Golden Globes was packed with high glamour frocks from design houses like Versace, Marchesa and Christian Dior. I noticed a lot of neutral and flesh tones (very on trend for Spring '10) so here is a round up of some of my favourite looks.

Ally McBeal Is Coming to DVD - For Real!

Rejoice, Ally McBeal fans! The series is finally coming to DVD (Region 1 DVD, at long last). It was a rumor a couple weeks ago, and now Popwatch alerted me to the fact that Amazon has listed both the first season's DVD set as well as the complete series DVD set. Though Fox hasn't yet issued a release date for these goodies, they are both available for pre-order right now.

This absolutely makes my day. I don't even care that there's no release date yet, just the fact that this is really happening is enough for me. I already own one of the soundtracks (go Vonda!) and The Official Guide (yup, this was one of my coffee table books for a long time, because I am that cool) and I cannot wait to be able to watch Ally any day, anytime on my TV.

What do you think, Ally fans? Which episodes are you most looking forward to seeing again? One of my very favorites is when Barry White guest stars and sings "My First, My Last, My Everything" while the whole gang does John Cage's dance together. Brings a tear to my eye! Harrison Ford finally confirmed he is engaged to Calista Flockhart during an Entertainment Tonight TV interview. The news was reported back in March but had not been officially confirmed. - Sky News
Depeche Mode's concert in Athens last night was cancelled when lead singer David Gahan was taken to hospital with suspected gastroenteritis. A spokesman said he hoped the band would be able to perform tonight. - BBC
Star Trek is number one in the UK box office, taking £6 million from 501 venues. The film grossed £70.9 million worldwide in its opening weekend and is number one in 23 markets. - Telegraph

TV Tonight: Brothers and Sisters

Have you seen any of the promos for tonight's two-hour special episode of Brothers and Sisters? They're awfully intense, promising a birth, a death, and more than the average amount of Walker family drama.

In this episode - or, rather, these two episodes - Trish goes into labor with Kitty and Robert's baby. It's a big day for the couple, and not just for that reason: Robert's also planning on making public his decision to run for governor of California. Meanwhile, Rebecca continues to rekindle her relationship with her father, and she ends up discovering some more disturbing information that could destroy Ojai Foods and maybe even send a Walker to prison.

Apparently, this episode is a tearjerker and a surefire Emmy submission for Rob Lowe - but I don't want to say any more than that. Instead, I'll just be tuning in tonight to see what all goes down. What about you? To check out a promo for the episode, just read more.
