Billie Piper is back as Belle de Jour, filming scenes in West London yesterday for the third series of Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Wearing a gorgeous red flower in her hair, Billie was filming scenes with costars Ashley Madekwe (Bambi) and Iddo Goldberg (Ben), who have been getting closer in the break between series by attending film premieres together. After giving birth to Winston in October, Billie's been enjoying lots of family time, taking walks and holidays with the two men in her life, but she's also found time for work, including promotional tours in the US.

One of the more surprisingly funny panels at TCA this month was for Showtime's Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Well, anytime you get a room full of critics talking about dominatrix training and "modesty sacks," it's got to be a pretty good time.
The show's star, Billie Piper, let us in on some of the upcoming stories for the show, how playing a call girl has changed perceptions of her, and whether the US or UK was more prudish about the show.

Billie Piper and her actor husband Laurence Fox made their way through LAX yesterday, following Billie's appearance at Showtime's TCA tour. Billie's been talking about how she's soon to start on a new diet and exercise routine following Winston's birth, and also discussed how tiring she's found motherhood:
"I had absolutely no idea how tiring being a mum was - or how hard mums have to work. [Winston]'s a restless sleeper.

TV stars from our side of the pond took to the stage at CBS and Showtime's TCA tour yesterday to chat about their shows. New mum Billie Piper took time out from Miami beaches to discuss Secret Diary of a Call Girl. My girl Buzz was there to hear Billie's revelations about the show, including the fact that she thinks Londoners tend to be more prudish about the show's sexual content than US audiences!

Billie Piper is still in the States but stepped away from her gorgeous baby Winston for a few hours to attend the premiere of the United States of Tara in Los Angeles last night. She kept hold of her leopard print scarf for the occasion which added colour to her otherwise black outfit. Patent shoes and clutch gave texture to the ensemble.

Billie Piper and her husband Laurence Fox took their baby boy Winston James to the beach in Miami this week. Winston's two months old now, and we last saw the family out and about in London, all wrapped up against the winter chill. Billie had no need for all those winter layers in Miami this time of year though (except her multipurpose leopard print scarf), as she sat on the beach shielding Winston from the sun, while Laurence tested out the water.

Take a look at these adorable pictures of Billie Piper, her husband Laurence Fox, and little Winston James Fox out for a walk in London yesterday. Winston was born in October and was all tucked up against the winter chill in his bright red romper suit, with Laurence giving his baby son a few kisses as Billie looked on proudly. Aren't they a gorgeous family?

Since David Tennant announced he's stepping down as Doctor Who at the NTAs last week, there's been speculation about who will replace him, with James Nesbitt emerging as favourite.
David has now spoken out about who could replace him, saying new mum Billie Piper could take the step from assistant to Doctor. He said:
"It's one of those parts that any actor could bring something valid to, because it can be anything and it's a sort of blank canvas everytime".

So the second series of Secret Diary of a Call Girl came to an end last night. In the season that saw Billie Piper have to cover up her growing baby bump, it's fitting that the actress should give birth to her son in the week the series ends. Congrats Billie!
