Jon and James Howl and Talk Poetry to Kick Off Sundance
Jon Hamm and James Franco hit the chilly red carpet to kick off the Sundance Film Festival with the premiere of their Howl last night. The movie is one of our most anticipated, and of course both these handsome — though scruffy at the moment — men are among the ones we were looking out for. Jon didn't let his girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt out of his sight as he chatted his way down the red carpet with James meandering a few minuted after and stopping to wax philosophical about Allen Ginsberg's famous work the whole way.
Gorgeous Guys Help Kick Off the Sundance Film Festival
The 26th Sundance Film Festival kicked off yesterday, showcasing independent films over the following ten days in Park City, Utah. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is there for new movie Hesher and to promote his website, inviting people to join him and his friends and coworkers as they collaborate with strangers on their current film project. Meanwhile James Franco and Jon Hamm were there to promote Howl, in which James plays Allen Ginsberg.
Rihanna Leads the Way With Amazing Women For Glamour
Rihanna stole the show in her dramatic white dress as she and her fellow honorees took the red carpet at last night's Glamour Women of the Year celebration in NYC. Carnegie Hall was brimming with beautiful ladies from Iman to Maria Shriver and Diane von Furstenberg. Catherine Zeta-Jones stood out in blue and had Michael Douglas by her side for support.
Rihanna and Stella Join Fellow Women of Year
Glamour Magazine's Women of the Year gathered at Carnegie Hall in New York City yesterday to celebrate each other's successes. Rihanna and Stella McCartney were amongst those honoured, and were joined by Estelle, who performed on stage. Amy Poehler and Serena Williams collected their awards, while Catherine Zeta-Jones was one of the presenters.

Eva Longoria and Andie MacDowell posed together yesterday as the two gorgeous faces of L'Oreal Paris, which was celebrating its 100th anniversary and received a friend of the Walk of Fame award in LA. The ladies were joined by relative newcomer to the brand and the villainess from this past season of Weeds, Kate del Castillo. Last week, Eva headed to Capitol Hill for a more political mission and she tackles all her projects with that famous smile on her face.
Ben Affleck Speaks in Front of a Proud Surprise Guest
Ben Affleck took the stage at the Children Mending Hearts Gala at the House of Blues in LA last night to present the year's humanitarian award to Anderson Cooper. Before handing the mic over to Cooper, Ben spoke about the Congo, a cause close to his heart and about which he wrote for Time magazine this week. When Ben stepped off the stage, he found a special surprise waiting back at his seat — Jennifer Garner snuck in to watch him and give him kisses at the table before ducking out 20 minutes later.

On A Day of Highs and Lows, Sundances On
While the afternoon took a noticeably somber turn as the news of Heath Ledger's tragic death spread over snowy Park City, the morning was for celebrating as Oscar nomination news came to Sundance. While a lot of the celebrities left with the end of MLK day weekend, there was still swag to be scored for some of them. I was lucky enough to stop by the Pure & Natural Celebrity Eco-Retreat and Iconix "Gift Giving For A Cause" Suite benefiting Save the Children to see all the goodies the celebrities have been snatching up as souvenirs.
Eva, Kerry, and Brittany Have a Night of Hope
Last night in LA, fabulous ladies came out for L'Oreal Paris and Harper's Bazaar's A Night of Hope party. Eva looked like a fancy valentine on the red carpet getting all cozy with cute Kerry Washington. Bella wants to know what you think of Brittany Murphy as a brunette, but overall her looks seems a little too severe.
Celebs Fly High at Qatar Air Party
Last night Qatar Airlines thew themselves a little party to celebrate their inaugural flight into NYC, and some celebs came out to play. It's a little odd to see Maggie & Peter with Melania & Donald -- maybe they talked babies? Meanwhile, how pretty is Andie MacDowell's daughter?
