What to get the woman who raised you? She may not be as hard to shop for as grandma or dad, but I still have a few ideas. Mine is a Dancing With the Stars fanatic, so I'm snatching up their new workout DVD. Also on the list: Valerie Bertinelli's memoir and a cute Liz Lemon tote to take to the grocery store. I'm considering a TiVo, too - that way, she doesn't have to decide between The Amazing Race and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on Sunday nights anymore. (Really, it's like Sophie's Choice.)

30 Rock Gets James Franco and Maybe Julianne Moore

I can't wait to see James Franco head to General Hospital later this month, but if soaps aren't your thing then maybe today's news will be more up your alley. Franco is the latest actor to make an appearance on 30 Rock! He'll be playing himself, but the best part is that he'll be involved in a showmance with Jenna. If you've seen any of Franco's Funnyordie videos (of which there are many), you know this guy has no problem poking fun at himself, and a fake relationship between James and Jenna should be hilarious.

But wait - there's more! Jack Donaghy will be getting a love interest as well (though his a real one) for a handful of episodes. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but word on the street is that it may be Julianne Moore. Salma Hayek had a great run as Jack's girlfriend last season, but can Moore measure up?

Best Thing Ever: New Moon's Werewolf Bar Mitzvah

If the words "Werewolf Bar Mitzvah" mean nothing to you, then I am about to rock your world in the best way possible. Here at Sugar HQ, the term has been tossed around one more than once as New Moon approaches, referencing the "novelty party song" that earned Tracy Jordan a gold record on 30 Rock. Quite literally, New Moon is Jacob Black's werewolf bar mitzvah (translation: boys becoming men, men becoming wolves!) - and my dear friend Molly found the perfect way to set Jacob's moment in time to music in this amazing mash up.

This promotional photo for 30 Rock features a very smartly appointed office. But while many elements in the room are handsome, the tufted-leather nail-head trim sofa that Tina Fey sits on is really the most eye-catching. There's a name for this particular style of sofa, do you know it? It's a __________ sofa.

TV Tonight: 30 Rock Season 4 Premiere

Nearly all the Fall TV shows have had their premieres, but there's one more we've all been waiting for: the fourth season premiere of 30 Rock! As we saw earlier this week in the behind-the-scenes clip from tonight's episode, Jack makes Liz go on a talent search for new stars of TGS, upsetting Tracy and Jenna. A strike ensues, and Steve Buscemi guests stars again (yay!).

I'm so happy that NBC's Thursday night comedy block is complete again (Community starts at 8, followed by Parks and Recreation and The Office).

On the other hand, 30 Rock's return does pose a bit of a problem; it goes up against Grey's Anatomy and Fringe (can you say TiVo fight?). Will you be watching?

How I'd Wire Liz Lemon

30 Rock's Liz Lemon got an iPhone at the start of the 2008 season, and it was just the begging of Apple love for the show, which is sponsored by the company. In fact, Apple even used clips from the funny sitcom to show off the new Find My iPhone feature at June's WWDC, so we know the love is mutual. What type of tech do we expect - and hope - geeky gal Liz will rock this season? Find out.

Which Network's Two-Hour Comedy Block Do You Prefer?

Next Thursday, NBC's two-hour Thursday night powerhouse will be complete again with the season four premiere of 30 Rock - get a sneak peek here. Meanwhile, ABC has just picked up its new comedies Modern Family, The Middle, and Cougar Town. With the addition of Hank, ABC now has a comedy block of its own, but which one do you prefer?

Tina Fey Says No to Working Out

In the November issue of Harper's Bazaar, funny woman Tina Fey reveals that she doesn't work out - at all. Looking at 39-year-old Fey I would not have guessed that she stays away from the gym. She's slim and carries herself with style and sex appeal. It's also surprising to hear that any woman working in an industry driven in large part by image is able to escape having a personal trainer.

When asked why she stays away from the gym, it comes down to not enough time in her day. The woman is busy, very busy. She's got a hit show to write, is a wife and mother, and is an Emmy-award-winning actress.

"Work, come home, play, kid bounce, work again, go to bed." She has thought about yoga, even done it a couple times. "But," she notes, "even yoga classes go on 80 or 90 minutes." The ethos of Gwyneth Paltrow or Madonna, with their two hours plus of bendiness a day, is not for Tina. "You will still die," she observes. "I'll do grave yoga. Someone can come and stretch me in my grave."

Tina explains her relationship to the business of celebrity this way:

"I like to delude myself that I'm in the old-Hollywood mode. I just tailor my clothes well and try to keep my skin clear. While it would be great to work out an hour a day, there is something inherently sort of selfish about it. I can't do it."

Despite not working out, the actress does focus on maintaining a healthy diet. At the age of 29, Fey dropped an astounding 35 pounds after going on Weight Watchers. The actress describes it as a time in her life where she learned to eat properly, something she still continues to do.

Buzz-Worthy Video of the Day: 30 Rock Season Four Preview

30 Rock finally comes back next Thursday, and even though my TV-watching schedule is packed tight, I can't wait for another season of Liz Lemon, Jack Donaghy, Tracy, and Kenneth. The video gives away some season four plot details: Jack tells Liz she has to conduct a talent search to add some more cast members to TGS, which of course shakes up stars Jenna and Tracy. It's a mix of upcoming footage and behind-the-scenes interviews, so watch and get excited for the premiere (and the Brian Williams cameo!).
