It was a spirited and star-studded Tony Awards ceremony on Sunday night and Broadway would have it no other way. Elton John, Liza Minnelli, Dolly Parton and more (including, of course, this year's host, Neil Patrick Harris), all came out for the theatrical awards show. By far the majority of the honors went to Billy Elliot, the Musical, while the comedic play God of Carnage and the musical Next to Normal also did quite well.

If I watch Sunday's Tony Awards, it won't be just because I love Broadway. No, I'll also be watching for Neil Patrick Harris, who's hosting this year's ceremony. Harris cracks me up, and he's got a confident presence behind the mic.

- Phillip Schofield has responded to Kerry Katona's claims that he was "ignorant and arrogant" during an interview that took place on This Morning. He said: "Anyone who regularly watches This Morning will hopefully agree that we try our very best to give a balanced point of view. I still believe we approached her difficulties with a much fairer, gentler hand than she would have received in many other arenas.

I've been loving Toni ever since her turn as the mom in The Sixth Sense, although she's since gone on to bigger and more fashionable roles. Tonight, she went with strawberry blond hair that played up the golden undertones in her skin and kept her makeup harmonious with a pink lemonade lip and soft pink blush. Do you think this is a great case of using complementary colors to get the most out of your hair shade, or do you wish she'd switched things up a little bit more?

Stars of the small screen flocked to the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles yesterday for the Primetime Emmy Awards. Our own Brits Cat Deeley and Ricky Gervais joined their American pals for the glamourous ceremony, which saw the guys stick to black suits and the women dazzle in an array of colouful dresses. Cat went for a pale floor-length number, while Gossip Girl buddies Leighton Meester and Blake Lively took opposite approaches with white and red.

Toni Collette is taking home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for The United States of Tara! She beat Tina Fey, Mary-Louise Parker, Christina Applegate, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Sarah Silverman.
This one totally shocked me, but Collette is pretty great on The United States of Tara.

Lots of celebs had fun at the Emmy Awards last night, and the good times continued around LA with various afterparties. The HBO bash brought out the stars of Entourage, with Jerry Ferrara cuddling up to girlfriend Jamie-Lynn Sigler as AnnaLynne McCord smiled for the cameras. January Jones struck a pose on ET's red carpet, and inside big winners Jon Cryer and Toni Collette chatted with their newly-acquired gold.

Neil Patrick Harris was the star of the night at yesterday's Primetime Emmy Awards. He hosted the long show and managed to keep things interesting with his constant jokes and hours of preparation looking up the tiniest, most obscure roles on all the presenters' resumes to introduce them with. Check out all the winners here.
