It's Oscar Sunday so it's party time on the Sugar network! Join us as we post pictures from the red carpet on Fab and Bella so you can vote on all your favorite fashion and beauty looks. Buzz is live blogging and we're live chatting so click here to join us in the chat room to dish on George's lucky date, Angelina's baby bump, and the best and worst speeches or shocking winners of the night. We've been looking forward to the Oscars for a long time and thankfully the strike is over so hopefully Jon Stewart will be cracking us up in between little gold men being given away.

See you at 3p.m. PST when E!'s red carpet kicks off and then of course at 5p.m. PST when the Oscars officially start.

If you're a gal who prides herself on being fashion-forward - and I know you are - thank your lucky Oscars. Oscar de la Renta, fresh off of his Penelope Cruz dress of success, gave editors and more remotely us a special taste of what's to come. I'm foreseeing full A-line skirts, uber florals, and lots of bright colors come Fall 2008. Metallics and ruffles are also still staying in the cards.

Oscar prides himself on dressing the lady, and I have to say: what a Fab well-dressed lady she is!

Oscars 2008: PopSugar UK Coverage Kicks Off!

Good morning! While those reading our Sugar sites in America have had their Oscar Party and live chat throughout, us Brits have had to sleep in preparation for a whole new week.

So, when you read this, the 80th Academy Awards ceremony will be over, you may have seen a few sum-ups on the morning news but you're itching to check out all the photos of the frocks, the stunning ladies and the Hollywood hunks.

No Country For Old Men and There Will Be Blood Lead Oscar Nominations

The 2008 Oscar nominees were announced bright and early this morning in LA and No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood led the nominations with eight each including Best Picture. Click here to check out the full list of nominations. Atonement, Juno and Michael Clayton were also nominated for Best Picture. We're thrilled Ellen Page was nominated for Best Actress for her work in Juno and George Clooney for Best Actor in Michael Clayton. Other highlights include Casey Affleck for Best Supporting Actor in The Assassination of Jesse James, Johnny Depp for Best Actor in Sweeney Todd and Cate Blanchett for both Best Actress in Elizabeth: The Golden Age and Best Supporting Actress in I'm Not There. How-To: Jennifer Garner's Oscars Hair

Jennifer Garner strutted the red carpet last night in a sophisticated and loose sideswept hairstyle, balanced out by a sexy, smoky eye and luxe jewelry. Her hair stylist for the evening, Adir Abergel for Frederic Fekkai, gave me the scoop on how he achieved this look for the big night.

"The inspiration came to me when I first saw the dress on her, during her fitting with Rachel Zoe," he explained. "The dress had a very similar vibe to the hair that we ended up doing: a clean, chic, heavy side-parted bang, with a romantic knotted low twist in the back. Jennifer loved the idea and we ran with it. I knew that she wanted it up, and the rest was a fun collaborative team effort."

Step 1: On wet hair, work a styling product from root to tip to help give hair texture. Adir used Fekkai Coiff Shape and Set Mist.
Step 2: Part hair three-quarters of the way on one side, up from the outer corner of your eye. Blow-dry small sections at a time with a round brush and pin back each one as you go along. Adir let Jennifer's hair set for about 10 minutes.
Step 3: Using a 1-inch curling iron, curl the entire head of hair and allow to cool, then finish with a misting of Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray.
Step 4: Leaving the severe side bang out, gather the rest of the hair at the nape of the neck. Wrap it into a loose bun and pin in place. Pull out a few more strands around either side of the face.

How-To: Jessica Alba's Oscars Makeup

Jessica Alba positively glowed in a deep aubergine dress and beautiful braids on the Oscars red carpet last night. I hope the show wasn't too long for her to sit through; that belly bump sure looks like it's growing by the second!

Jessica followed her own lead from last year and chose a radiant and stunning subdued makeup look. For product suggestions and application techniques on how to create her makeup look at home, read more.

Face: Begin by applying a creamy concealer under your eyes, to the sides of your nose, and to any red areas on your face. Next, blend a tan-toned tinted moisturizer such as Dior Bronze Tinted Moisturizer SPF 10 all over your face and neck and set your skin with a loose powder such as Bare Escentuals Tinted Mineral Veil.
Cheeks: You'll want to create a slight contour, yet soft golden cheek for this look so I suggest blending the two brown shades from the Scott Barnes Chic Palette in Sundance together just under your cheekbones and then highlight the top part of your cheeks with the gold, shimmery shade. As a finishing touch, dust a touch of apricot blush like Maybelline Expert Wear Blush in Rose Silk on the apples of your cheeks for softness and warmth.
Eyes: It looks like Jessica is wearing several shades of bronze, gold, and brown on her eyes. A perfect palette for creating this kind of warm, neutral smoky is DuWop's Brown Eyes Shadow Palette. When you are finishing blending your base and crease colors, add a touch of a highlighter like Too Faced Shimmer Veils in Angel Hair on the inner corners of the eyes. Line your top and lower lashline with dark brown cream liner. Finish with two coats of deep brown or black mascara.
Lips: This look demands a shiny, but very sheer lip look. I suggest lining your entire lip with a neutral liner such as DuWop's Neutral Lip Pencil in Teardrop and then top it off with DuWop's Venom Flash in Gold. This will create fullness and a touch of sparkle.

Fab's Oscars Number One . . . and Two and Three!

I haven't really thought of anything or talked to anyone about anything but the Oscars in the past 24 hours. Some may think this is unhealthy, I think it's completely normal. You've seen the ladies and their gowns, you've voted on your faves, and Oscar Monday has come to a close. And so, I present to you my favorites from the star-studded red carpet. This time, there was no one stand-out dress. Three ladies were Fab top to bottom, beginning with your best-dressed Heidi Klum . . .

So she wasn't up for an award. Heidi wins your best-dressed vote and mine - so that should make Heidi even more happy. Heidi confessed she worked with John Galliano on the custom Dior - that is up for auction benefiting women's heart health. I wonder whose idea it was to go over-the-top regal red. No matter, it was a great collaboration. From the high collar to the grandiose train, this dramatic gown saved the runway from a boring demise.

Her pink diamond earrings, fuchsia clutch, and candy-colored jewels brought the look to a flirtatious place. Who said you can't mix pink and red? Not Heidi.

I forgive Penelope for not wearing the artsy Dolce & Gabbana gown I picked out for her, I guess. Chanel Haute Couture is a nice alternative - especially when it's dramatic and feathery. I've professed my love for black on the red carpet and this is the perfect example of why: It's dramatic, unique, and worn with confidence. Though it's strapless - a neckline I am so over - it's a plumage-infused one. Also, she added a splash of red with her Chopard earrings. To die.

Another stunning red-wearing winner, Heigl continues to impress on the red carpet. The fit of this crimson Escada dress is impeccable. I am very nit picky about fit on the red carpet - there is no excuse for a dress not fitting correctly. She went all out with red lips and bouncy hair and her cylindrical diamond earrings are awesome. Her waist looks teensy and her shoulders sexy - especially the left one with the circle detailing. Heigl has won me over in the past year, especially here.

All right, Miley Cyrus! After her overly done-up Grammys look, she's toned down her hair and makeup for the Oscars. And look at the improvement! Instead of being tarted up, she looks like a fresh-faced yet elegant teenager. A slightly glossy raspberry lip looks sweet, while her hair is sleek. I'm loving this look on Miley; are you?
