James McAvoy: First Wanted and Now Totally Requested

James McAvoy got a loud and excited reception when he arrived at MTV's TRL yesterday, saying he had "the best reception of his career" as he walked into the studio. The Scottish hunk is still out and about promoting Wanted and he has happily admitted that he enjoyed being beaten up by Angelina Jolie in the role:

"I really enjoyed the fight scenes, especially with Angelina. There's a certain amount of satisfaction that comes from taking a hit in the face and thankfully I took a lot."

Wanted is out now in the UK, and it comes out on Friday in the US. Will you go and see James playing a fit hitman this weekend?

I'm really looking forward to seeing Wanted with the gorgeous James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie – the non-pregnant one of the two was in Berlin today promoting the movie and looking rather dashing to boot! Though, next to uber-tanned co-star Thomas Kretschmann, he's looking rather pale...

My girl Buzz has a little more info on the film – judging by the trailer this tale of hitmen and women looks set to be sexy and exciting! It's out in the UK on June 27, so check out the trailer now!

Photos Pop Up for Wanted, Starring Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy

It doesn't open until March 28, 2008 but the new photo stills from the film Wanted have piqued my interest in the film in a big way. In particular, I'm talking about this crazy image with the shattering glass and David O'Hara's face which I find to be awful and completely mesmerizing all at once.

The stills are from Empire and they feature some pretty great - and greatly attractive - actors, like James McAvoy, Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman. The movie follows Wesley (McAvoy) who finds out his father is an assassin. Then, "when his father is murdered, the son is recruited into his father's old organization and trained by a man named Sloan (Freeman) to follow in his dad's footsteps."

Angelina's Got Guns And She Knows How To Use Them

Angelina was filming some intense gun-wielding scenes on the hood of that red car in Chicago last night. Her skinniness aside, I bet this scene is going to look pretty badass when Wanted comes out. I do love that Angie looks as happy hard at work just as she does when she's with her amazing family. Unfortunately the kiddies couldn't be on set with mom last night, but I'm sure we'll get to see them all together again soon. The Jolie-Pitts have been enjoying their time in Chicago, including their weekend excursion to the museum at which Brad tipped a guard $300 for taking care of them. Awww, sweet.

Angie Works Late At Night While Brad Fulfills Civic Duty

Angelina was hard at work on Wanted late into the night yesterday. It was a little too late for the kiddies to be on set with mom, but unfortunately Brad dad couldn't be taking care of them either. He was in LA yesterday afternoon serving on jury duty. He was assigned to serve on a DUI case, but the defendant ended up pleading no contest. Sigh, if only it had been Paris, Nicole or Lindsay's case -- hilarious. Apparently at one point a fellow juror approached Brad with a magazine talking about his supposed split from Angelina and asked him if it was true. Awk-ward. At that point, he was moved to a private room to enjoy his Subway sandwich lunch. What would be crazier, Angelina filming on your Chicago block or Brad there for your jury duty?

Angelina Glows On The Set Of Wanted

This morning we saw the entire beautiful and sleepy family en route to Chicago so mom Angelina can get back to work on Wanted and now here she is on set. I must say, she's looking gorgeous with that big smile on her face. As usual there are the omnipresent rumors that Brad has moved out and things are falling to pieces in the Jolie-Pitt family, but from the looks of it the family is as happy as ever. Wanted won't hit theaters until next year, but we won't have to wait that long to see Angelina back on the big screen -- Beowulf starring kinda-CGI Angie is out in November.

Angelina's Super Cute Casual Mom Time

Angelina looks like she had a bit of a tummy ache on the set of Wanted this afternoon. It didn't seem to get in the way of her daily routine, including carrying little Zahara into school. Angie's been dressing so much older and conservative these days, I gotta say it's nice to see her back in a t-shirt and jeans. Zahara, on the other hand, looked pretty fancy in her adorable top. It looks like Angie's got a ring hanging around her neck -- I wonder if that's part of her wardrobe for the movie...or maybe a gift from Brad? OMG, do I hear wedding bells?!?!?! Kidding, kidding, kidding...I'm just being bad.

Angelina Flashes a Smile, Earns a Spot on PopSugar 100

Angelina looked uncharacteristically cheery arriving on the set of Wanted this week. Unfortunately she didn't have any of the little ones with her this time. Angelina and all that surrounds their family creates controversy (which is an understatement), so obviously she has earned a place on our PopSugar 100 List. As I mentioned yesterday, we can't announce the list until it runs in a magazine next week, but here's my teaser question. Where do you think Angelina landed in our final tally of your votes?
