JT Helps Slimey Awards Clean Up in the Ratings

Can you believe Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards have been around for 20 years? What's more, this year's ceremony, held Saturday night in Los Angeles, earned the highest ratings in KCA history, Reuters reports.

According to the Nielsen numbers, the program averaged more than 6.1 million viewers, a 3 percent increase over last year. But the increase in voting was even crazier: A total of 40.8 million votes were cast this year - via the Internet, mobile phones, and other methods - which is a whopping 54 percent more than in 2006.

I'm sure Nick owes a lot of this unprecedented enthusiasm to Justin Timberlake, who was an incredibly charismatic host, willing both to show off his talent and poke fun at himself. (He was forced to give up his Best Burp title.)

Blake Lively posed with a heart-shaped box of Godiva chocolates at the launch of the brand's Sweetest Story Ever Told Contest in NYC last night. She wore Valentino for the sweet evening and had her parents, Elaine and Ernie, along for support. Blake's mom, Elaine, was spotted on set with her this week while boyfriend Ryan Reynolds is overseas promoting Safe House. Ryan and Blake will be able to reunite soon, though, since his press tour will take him to the Big Apple in the coming days. Dating was the topic of conversation in a recent Elle interview with Blake, in which she insisted she's "had four boyfriends in my whole life. I've never been with anyone that's not a boyfriend."

Scarlett and Nate Naylor have been dating for months, though have made very few public appearances. It's just the latest rumored pairing for Scarlett, who was linked to British musician Dan White during her We Bought a Zoo press tour last month and Sean Penn shortly after her split from Ryan Reynolds in 2010. Scarlett recently wrapped work on Under the Skin in Scotland, but she'll soon be back in front of the cameras to promote The Avengers. We'll have to wait and see if Scarlett brings her man to the red carpet before the film hits theaters in May.
