Today the Internet world is abuzz with talk about the premiere of Foodies, a new web show that makes fun of culinary crazies. In the pilot, we meet Porter, whose foodie fiancée wants him to become a member of an elitist supper club. Watch the episode below and tell me what you think of the show. Sam Raimi Readies Horror Movie-Style Reality Show

Sam Raimi, writer/director of The Evil Dead, A Simple Plan and Spider-Man 3 (among other stuff), is a busy guy. In addition to directing a horror flick (Drag Me to Hell) and creating an action/fantasy TV series (Wizard's First Rule), he's decided that the world also needs another reality TV show. A reality show that's kind of like Fear Factor, but shot like a horror movie. Or something.

Airing on the CW, the eight-episode summertime series titled simply 13 will "utilize horror-themed challenges to knock players off one by one, until just one is left, having survived all that bloodshed." Reality show producer Jay Bienstock will executive produce alongside Raimi.

According to Bienstock, "We want to cast it like a horror movie, and shoot it a little differently as well. Think about those old movies - we want to put people in a place like that, where they have to deal with their fears and anxieties. They'll end up surprising one another."

As casting begins for the 13 contestants, producers are also deciding in "which classic horror setting" the show will be placed: "An evil small town? A lakeside retreat with a creepy secret? An abandoned cabin in the forest?"

"Traveler" Will Get a Prime Thursday Try-Out

I have high hopes for ABC's summer series "Traveler," which centers around two buddies who get framed for a terrorist act by a third friend. So I was excited to see that the show - which wasn't scheduled to start until May 30 - will be getting a special premiere after the May 10 episode of "Grey's Anatomy." The show will then move to its regular 10 p.m. Wednesday slot on May 30 with a second airing of the pilot episode.

The move means that "Men in Trees" is done for the season, but it's expected that the remaining five episodes will be shown in the fall, giving the show an extra-long second season.

"Traveler" is directed by David Nutter, who also directed episodes of "X-Files" and "Roswell," and it has a similarly mysterious plot. Three friends are on a road trip when they decide to prank an art museum in New York by rollerblading through it. Two take off down the stairs; the third, Will, stays behind to film them. But as soon as the other two make it out of the museum, they get a call from Will, who says "I'm sorry I had to do this." The museum immediately blows up, and within minutes, the video of the two friends running away is plastered all over television. It looks pretty heavy for a summer series, but it could be a welcome change of pace from all the reality fare the networks have planned. Ryan Reynolds Premieres Safe House With Denzel, but Without Blake

Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington teamed up last night for their NYC premiere of Safe House. Denzel posed on the red carpet with his wife Pauletta, though Ryan's real-life leading lady, Blake Lively, sat the event out. A pregnant Molly Sims stepped out for the screening, showing off her baby bump alongside husband Scott Stuber. There has been lots of time for Ryan and Denzel to bond over the last few weeks as they promoted the film. They even took a quick trip to Spain, where they had a photocall and a fun visit to the set of El Hormiguero. Ryan and Denzel filmed the picture last Spring and Summer in South Africa. They'll see if all the hard work pays off when the movie hits theaters this Friday on Feb. 10.

The Amazing Spider-Man Trailer: Andrew Garfield Flies, Fights, Romances Emma Stone

The full-length trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man is finally here, and it answers a lot of the questions we were wondering about when the teaser came out last Summer. While we get a long, satisfactory look at the adorable Andrew Garfield as Spidey, in and out of the suit, we also have more insight into Rhys Ifans's villain character, The Lizard. The initial teaser focuses on how Peter Parker transforms into Spider-Man, but this preview shows us what happens after he gets his powers (lots of agile crime-fighting and confounding the police).

There's also plenty of blond Emma Stone as love interest Gwen Stacy, and her cozy scenes with Parker are adorable (and a little jealousy-inducing). Garfield is as winning as I hoped he'd be, whether he's being cheeky about using his abilities to climb Gwen's building ("your doorman's intimidating") or trying to do the right thing as a vigilante. With his charm and what seems like an exciting setup, I have faith that this new installment can live up to the earlier franchise. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard relaxed at an LA park together on Saturday. The couple, who have been engaged since 2010, read magazines while their dogs played nearby. Kristen recently stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to chat about her upcoming movie Big Miracle, though talk turned to her 31st birthday last Summer when Dax presented Kristen with a gift she'd been dreaming about her whole life. Dax arranged for a sloth to be at their house during the bash, and in her extreme excitement, Kristen cried hysterically - the Kristen Bell with a sloth video is too funny to miss!

Kristen and Dax are keeping busy with multiple projects on both the big and small screens. Dax has his current TV hit, Parenthood and a new romantic comedy called Outrun hitting theaters this Summer while Kristen's whale-saving drama, Big Miracle, comes out on Friday and a new episode of her House of Lies airs on Showtime this Sunday.

Jennifer Lopez Slips Into a Swimsuit and Snuggles With Casper

She is out promoting the latest season of American Idol, which premiered earlier this month, and for this work-related trip she brought along her boyfriend Casper Smart. Idol may be off to a slower start in its 11th year on the air, but things are going well in Jennifer's personal life. Casper defended his and J Lo's age difference recently, saying "close your ears and open your heart!" She's also getting along well with her ex, Marc Anthony, despite rumors of trouble when they split last Summer and when she took up with her much younger backup dancer. Jennifer and Marc even held hands at a recent event to promote their upcoming reality show ¡Q'Viva! The Chosen to show just how friendly they are as exes.

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber Bring Their Boys Back to Australia

Edgar did get some love at various shows. However, some were shocked when her leading man Leonardo DiCaprio wasn't named among the best actor contenders during yesterday's Oscar nominations. Naomi will enjoy a break before starting her next project, a controversial film with Robin Wright called The Grandmothers.

Vanessa Paradis denied a split from Johnny Depp while making the press rounds in France on behalf of her new film Café de Flore. She premiered the film on Monday evening, and wore a salmon-colored sweater for another screening last night.

Vanessa also made an appearance on the chat show Le Grand Journal. When asked about the breakup rumors, Vanessa replied, "They say that we have 52 houses in France, we separate in Winter, we get married every Summer. Me, I'm in my 12th pregnancy. All this is, I don't know, because the Queen of England didn't lose her teeth this week and there's nothing happening . . . yes, they are false."

The Oscar Nominations: Snap Judgments

The Oscar nominations were announced this morning, and now that we've had time to digest the news, we have a few reactions to share. From the positive and excited to the slightly disappointed, check out our thoughts on the 2012 Academy Award nominations, and be sure to share yours too.

It's rare for a comedy to be able to compete with all of the heavy dramas of award season, especially an R-rated comedy, but Bridesmaids impressed us by not just nabbing a supporting actress nomination for Melissa McCarthy, but for best original screenplay for Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo. Nice work, ladies!
We were happy to see acting nominations for Nick Nolte in Warrior and Gary Oldman for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Both men have been left off a lot of lists (like the Golden Globes), but we're so glad that they pulled in Oscar nominations since these were two performances we felt strongly about.
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo may have been passed over in most major categories, but its lead actress, Rooney Mara, was still recognized. The Academy seems to love its ingénues, and we're glad they chose Rooney for her brave breakout role.
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close has suffered from some bad reviews, but not from the Academy: it scored a best picture nomination and a nod for supporting actor Max von Sydow. We liked him in the role, but it's still a surprise to see the movie come up so strongly.
The Tree of Life was a similar surprise, since the Summer release had polarized reviewers and audiences and didn't seem to have much award season steam. But the movie still managed to join the race with nods for best picture and best director for Terrence Malick.
