On “24,” the third and fourth hours of Day 6 are tense and shocking! Just when I was getting used to the pace of the show, Monday night’s ending rapidly accelerated the story line. Not that I’m complaining, because it’s very exciting.

In the two-hour season premiere of “24,” suicide bombers have been terrorizing the U.S., and the president is struggling to figure out what to do. The president for the past two years has been Wayne Palmer, brother to former President David Palmer, who was assassinated in the shocking Season 5 opener. According to government research, a man named Hamir Al-Assad is responsible for the terrorist attacks, and this is where our hero Jack Bauer comes in.

Wow. The biggest surprise of the third season finale of Mad Men isn't actually a plot point, but how light and almost exciting it manages to be. For a show that's normally so tense and tightly wound, this week's episode has a quick pace, and at times, a sense of humor.

The fourth season of Ugly Betty kicked off this week, with a two-hour premiere on Friday night. ABC hasn't exactly been heavily marketing the show, and many — including me — are worried that the new time slot could be a death sentence. I was happy to have Betty back in my living room, and I'm already loving the new work dynamic between her and Matt.

Nearly all the Fall TV shows have had their premieres, but there's one more we've all been waiting for: the fourth season premiere of 30 Rock! As we saw earlier this week in the behind-the-scenes clip from tonight's episode, Jack makes Liz go on a talent search for new stars of TGS, upsetting Tracy and Jenna. A strike ensues, and Steve Buscemi guests stars again (yay!).

ABC's V finally debuted, giving us a glimpse at the Visitors (and their creepy alien skins). The premiere brought in a huge audience, making it the second most-watched of the new season — but what did you think of the first episode?
While the opening with the descent of the spaceships is eerily suspenseful, I felt like the writers packed in a ton for just an hour-long show.
