Buzz In: Which TV Star's Memoir Would You Love to Read?

I've admitted before that I'm a bit of a Saved by the Bell fanatic. I followed Zack Morris and the gang from Miss Bliss's classroom to Malibu Sands to Vegas, and I was pretty excited about a possible reunion. They spent so much time on my TV, I felt like I knew them. Well, perhaps not. This week's issue of Us Weekly gives us a sampling of Dustin Diamond's upcoming memoir Behind the Bell and man, is he digging up dirt - everything from alleging that Mark-Paul Gosselaar used steroids to the spit-swapping between Tiffani Thiessen and Mario Lopez.

Saved by the Bell hookups?! I know most of you have said that you're not interested in the book, but I sort of want to get my hands on that magazine issue.

Confession: I read sTori Telling - and loved it for the behind-the-scenes goings on of the '90s cast of 90210. I always want to know what really went on inside my favorite TV shows. I'd read one on Gilmore Girls, Punky Brewster, whatever. And I sort of want one about the real reality that takes place behind the cameras of The Hills.

So tell me: Which TV star's memoir would you most like to read?

(P.S. My vote is for Heather Locklear. Now that she's coming back to Melrose, the timing is right!)

Buzz In: What TV Reunions Would You Like to See?

Last week we heard more talk about the possible onscreen Saved by the Bell reunion when the cast (minus Dustin Diamond) posed for the cover of People, and soon after, Larry David revealed that there will be a Seinfeld reunion as a story arc in an upcoming episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. So what other nostalgia-inducing TV casts should have reunions?

I'd love to see the cast of The Cosby Show reunited because I just think it would be funny, and I'd be curious to see the cast of The Wonder Years all together again. A Friends reunion would be interesting because most of those friends continue to work in Hollywood, though their paths have been different. What do you think? What TV cast reunions would it "feel so good" to see reunited?

Should the Saved by the Bell Cast Reunite on Fallon's Show?

I'd be lying if I said I didn't start many of my days with an episode of Saved by the Bell on TBS. There is something about that show that still draws me in, even though the fashion, the acting, the Slater - it's all so cheesy. What can I say? The kids of Bayside High School have a special place in my heart.

That's why I was excited to see Mark-Paul Gosselaar show up on Jimmy Fallon's show as Zack Morris. He even brought the phone! Gosselaar's appearance was part of Fallon's "efforts" to reunite the cast of Saved by the Bell. Apparently everyone is on board except for ~~Screech~~ Dustin Diamond and Tiffani Thiessen. I'm a little torn. On the one hand, Gosselaar's appearance was so fun. On the other, well, Dustin Diamond has a sex tape. A reunion could be a little depressing.

What do you say? Do you want to see the cast of Saved by the Bell reunite on Fallon's show? Or should Fallon let it rest?

Buzz In: What Teen Show Best Captures Your Own Experience?

The New York Times recently ran a story comparing the portrayals of teenage life in Gossip Girl, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and the British show Skins. As I read through the reporter's description of each show, I wondered which teens, if any, see themselves represented in these three seriously different shows. Though they're fun to watch, none of these three shows quite captures my own teen years.

For example, the Times describes Secret Life as "steeped in moralizing" (my teen years weren't as pious), Gossip Girl as a place "where jetting to Aspen from Teterboro" is normal (yeah, not my experience either), and Skins as "nihilistic in its mood" (my hormones were raging, but I wouldn't say I was a nihilist).

So what teen drama did come closest to my own youth? Strange to admit it, but Saved by the Bell comes pretty close (sometimes I related to Jessie Spano. There, I said it. Except during this scene). Or maybe My So-Called Life (because of this scene, I did my fair share of bed dancing) - but even that still isn't quite right. What about you? What teen show - past or present - best sums up your own teenage years?

Elizabeth Berkley to Join The L Word

It's been a good year for Saved by the Bell alumni. Mark-Paul Gosselaar's new show, Raising the Bar, begins airing on TNT in September. Mario Lopez has been everywhere from Broadway to MTV. And now Elizabeth Berkley - who's already appeared on CSI: Miami and hosted Step It Up and Dance - is joining the cast of The L Word.

Berkley will come on board for the show's final season, playing a former love interest of Jennifer Beals's character ("the straight girl that got away," according to Entertainment Weekly). No word yet on when she'll show up, but she is going to be around for multiple episodes. This isn't the first time Berkley and Beals have worked together: They also shared screen time in the 2002 film Roger Dodger.

Berkley seems like she should fit right in with the rest of the L Word ladies, and I'm excited to see what she can do with this role. I'm also looking forward to this much more than her other upcoming project, the (potentially ill-advised) Donnie Darko sequel. What say you?

Saved By the Bell Is Coming to The N

If you've missed hanging out with Zack, Kelly, Slater, and Screech at The Max, you might want to see if your cable package includes The N. The network just bought the rights to all six seasons of the show, and episodes will start airing in January - hopefully at a more decent hour than those 7 a.m. airings on TBS.

The N - best known (to me, anyway) for showing Degrassi: The Next Generation - has been sharing time with another network, Noggin, for several years, but as of Dec. 31, the two are splitting up. To prepare, the network has snapped up some classic teen shows, including That '70s Show, which will start airing in June.

The network also has some other original shows on the way, including a reality series called Queen Bees that attempts to reform the meanest mean girls. But other than Saved by the Bell, I'm most excited about the return of Degrassi for its seventh season, starting Jan. 18.

What other teen shows would you like to see turn up on The N? Personally, I wish someone would get the rights to Good Morning, Miss Bliss and Hang Time. Oh man, anyone else remember Hang Time?

The Results Are In: Recast Saved by the Bell

Every Wednesday on BuzzSugar, I post a Recast challenge, where I ask you to choose new actors for a classic TV show or movie. The reader who submits the best cast wins a BuzzSugar t-shirt!

Oh, how I wish this show were still on TV! But alas, Saved by the Bell lives on only in reruns, on DVD and in my fond memories. Though the original cast was priceless, you all thought of some fantastic new cast lists for this recast challenge. I enjoyed the suggestions put forth for recasting Mr. Belding in particular, from bart simpson's pick of Rainn Wilson and syako's idea of Alec Baldwin to alynn's Kevin Nealon suggestion.

Also, the idea of Whitney from The Hills playing Jessie, as shopper10024 suggested, made me laugh out loud.
