This week's Project Runway gave the designers a challenge that many, many of them failed on — it seemed like even the high-scoring looks were there because they were simply the least bad.
That said, I did love the winning look and think it was worthy of the guest judge herself — Marchesa's Georgina Chapman. On the other end of the spectrum, the lowest-scoring looks were some hot messes, especially the contestant who got sent home.

Season seven of Project Runway is moving right along, and this week's challenge took the designers to the Met to be inspired by the couture within. There was a surprise challenge added to the team assignment — an extra look for less — but it didn't seem to trip anyone up (anyone who wasn't already tripped up, that is).
I liked a few of the top designs but agreed with the judges (including adorable British designer Matthew Williamson) on who they ended up sending home.

Project Runway hit us with its second episode this week, and I think it kept up the momentum of last week's promising premiere (which prompted many of you to say you were into the seventh season so far).
The challenge was actually one of my favorites that they've ever done on the show, and the designers really rose to the occasion, using that burlap like it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Some looks had me salivating (I'd so wear Amy's, Emilio's and Anthony's dresses), and some had me just making a really confused face at the TV.

The latest season of Project Runway premiered this week, and I have to say — I'm impressed. I was excited about the return to New York and the potential that comes with a fresh new group of contestants. Now that I've seen the first episode, I'm encouraged that the show will be an exciting must see again.

Project Runway 2.0 — that's the Lifetime version of Project Runway — is coming back tonight for its seventh season, and even though last season failed to thrill me the way the first few had, I'm actually excited for tonight's debut. My number one reason? The show is back in New York, which not only means Parsons, the original Mood, and Atlas Apartments, it also means that NYC residents Michael Kors and Nina Garcia will be able to judge the runway shows more often (is it too much to ask that they never leave?).

2009 was a great year in TV — but not for every show. Some of my favorite series are in need of a makeover, whether it's for an individual, plotline, or well, everything. But since it's the holidays and the spirit of generosity abounds, I'm going to proclaim what I have on my television wish list for 2010, and hope some TV exec out there has the Santa spirit within and grants them.

Project Runway's most recent season — and its first on Lifetime — was a bit of a disappointment, but I'm hoping that season seven will improve. The good news? The show is returning to New York!

The sixth season of Project Runway, punctuated by a network change and a long lawsuit, wrapped up this week, and the winner was finally announced. And I really mean finally — the collections were actually shown way back in February.
Last week, the majority of you predicted that Carol Hannah would take home the honors.

This week's episode of Project Runway was the first installment in the sixth season's finale, which means that we got to jet around with Tim Gunn to see the final contestants at home, working on their collections. Next week, we'll see the fruits of their labor strutting down the catwalk in Bryant Park, completing Lifetime's first season with the reality show. The winner — of Irina, Althea, or Carol Hannah — will also be crowned.

This week's Project Runway took me by surprise for a couple reasons. First, I definitely wasn't expecting it to be the last episode before Bryant Park as there were five contestants still competing. Keyword: were.
