Taye Takes Off the Training Wheels

The usually smokin' Taye Diggs looked a little bit goofy tooling around the Private Practice set on a bicycle yesterday afternoon. PP is definitely not Grey's, but it's picking up a little steam, plot wise at least. I'm still finding that I care more about the cases than the doctors themselves though. At least hot Taye is a help in keeping the MDs at least vaguely enthralling. Plus, if he's going to be awkwardly riding a bike in at least one episode, there should be some laughs coming our way.

Days of Grey's (And Private Practice) Are Almost Here!

Kate Walsh just got married a couple weeks ago, but it looks like the honeymoon is literally over and she's back to shopping LA. She decided to skip Ellen Pompeo's pre-Emmy party, but we're betting she'll be joining her former Grey's costars on the red carpet at the Emmys on Sunday. We can't wait for the big show, but we're even more excited for the next season of Grey's! As for Kate's Private Practice, we're not totally on board yet, but we're willing to give it a chance. And don't forget - you still have a couple of days left to fill out your Emmy ballot but we recommend that you get on that ASAP.

Kate Is Privately Practicing Walking Down The Aisle

Kate Walsh and Taye Diggs hung out on the set of Private Practice in their little robes, which we're assuming is for a scene outside of the office. The show doesn't premiere until September 26th, but the hype is continuing to build up with some touchy feely trailers and promo pics. Kate is obviously going to have a busy September with the show and the Emmys, and it looks like she wanted to tie the knot before all the chaos sets in. In fact, she's getting married next weekend!

"Private Practice": Photos, Promos ... and Promise?

Oh, you guys, I'm such a sap. I've been secretly preparing all summer to hate "Private Practice" and call it a huge disappointment and a disgrace to the big-name actors and actresses in the cast ... and then I watched four promos in a row, and I kind of got chills. Sigh.

The thing is, I really love Addison. I want to be best friends with Addison. And watching these promos - which are heavy on Kate Walsh's "Grey's" scenes and light on actual "Private Practice" content - reminds me of how cool and determined and strong and kick-ass she can be. If "Private Practice" screws up my Addy, I'm outta there; otherwise, I might love it. (The sneak preview episode was iffy on that count.)

ABC Dramas have a lot of Big Shots

Along with all the gorgeous women joining ABC's prime time, there will be plenty of eye candy for the ladies as well. The male version of Sex and the City is called Big Shots and stars Michael Vartan, Dylan McDermott, Christopher Titus and Joshua Malina. In the pilot these four CEOs sit around in a steam room bitching about their lives when Dylan's character finally says, "Men, we're like the new women." Talk about a guilty pleasure! Then there is the most hyped show of the season, the Grey's spin off, Private Practice. Peter Krause stars in Dirty Sexy Money where he plays a lawyer who takes over his dead father's job as personal counsel for an uber-rich dysfunctional family. The creator of the show, Craig Wright, said it was inspired by the Dallas or Dynasty models but more updated. Ex-OC and Entourage star, Samaire Armstrong also joins the cast as the blonde bratty socialite that many are already comparing to Paris Hilton. It's Official: Kate Walsh Checks Out Of Seattle Grace

Buzz may have already told us that Kate Walsh was getting her own show thanks to Ellen interviewing the President of ABC last week, but now Variety has confirmed the news. I have mixed feelings about Addison. At first she was the character we were supposed to hate since she was McDreamy's secret wife who turned out to be a cheater. Then like most of America, we learned to love this strong character. Yet now I am kinda over her, like I am over Meredith. Don't get me wrong, I am still a huge fan of the show even though the middle of this season sucked, it has gotten better - but based off the initial reactions to the special spin off pilot, I am not so sure I will be signing up for Private Practice no matter how much I enjoy watching Taye Diggs.

First Look! Photos from A Very Special "Grey's"

Folks, meet the doctors of "Private Practice"! The first photos of the "Grey's Anatomy" episode that could lead to the Addison-centered spinoff are out, and they're packed with interesting glimpses of the show-to-be.

According to ABC, the two-hour episode will be called "The Other Side of This Life," and it's scheduled to air May 3. Details are still a little sketchy, but we know that Addison will be taking a temporary leave from Seattle Grace and setting out on a road trip to LA. It looks like a jam-packed episode, including:

Cristina shopping for a wedding dress, aided by Meredith, Izzie, and Callie (and, it would appear, Burke's mom)
Addison reuniting with her old med school friends and their buddies, played by Tim Daly, Taye Diggs, and Amy Brenneman
Chris Lowell, shirtless.
