OMFG! A Gossip Girl Soundtrack: Duh

My question is: What took them so long? I kid, but honestly, you knew a Gossip Girl soundtrack had to be coming because a) that's what good teen dramas do, and b) the show is as good at music as it is at one-liners.

So, the first Gossip Girl soundtrack has been compiled by The O.C.'s former music supervisor, Alexandra Patsavas (you know how I feel about her). OMFGG - Original Music Featured on Gossip Girl No. 1's 13 tracks will hit record store shelves near you on Oct. 28, and the album's also available online right now. It's generally a pretty good overview of the show's music, though it doesn't have the memorable "U.R.A. Fever," the song that's playing when Serena admits to murder.

The good folks of GG are also launching an entire site devoted to music on the show. I'm pretty excited for that site myself, because I rarely watch an episode without doing some searching for lyrics I heard.

Rewind: Wedding Season Inspires the Ultimate Onscreen Wedding Slideshow

We celebrated wedding season by compiling the ultimate slideshow of TV and movie weddings. Of course, because one series takes the cake on extravagant nuptials, we had to create a whole separate gallery of Gossip Girl wedding pics.
For brides planning their wedding music, we made a helpful list of 100 songs for your first dance.
We remembered Bella and Edward's enchanted woodland ceremony, and because Twilight starlet Kristen Stewart turned 22 this week, we wished her a happy birthday with pictures from the movies Stewart has starred in throughout the years.
We couldn't be more excited about The Dark Knight Rises, especially after seeing brand-new photos of Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the film.
And how could you not be stoked on Summer release Magic Mike after seeing these stripperific pictures of Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, and more?
Speaking of upcoming movies, we got a look at the teaser poster for Quentin Tarantino's Spaghetti Western, Django Unchained.
Just two weeks into the second season, HBO greenlit Game of Thrones for season three. Fox had some renewal news of its own, announcing new seasons of New Girl, Glee, and Raising Hope.
The pictures of the return of The Vampire Diaries gave us plenty to look forward to, including a swinging decades dance.
We got all caught up in time with Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the first trailer for Looper.

See Miranda and Orlando, Jay-Z, Kanye, and Beyoncé in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show!

The Victoria's Secret runway extravaganza airs on CBS this evening! In honor of the big TV event, we're taking a look back at the show which was recorded at NYC's Lexington Avenue Armory on Nov. 9.

Between the musical acts and the amazing costumes on the angels, Nov. 9th was a night to remember. Candice Swanepoel was the first down the catwalk in the "Ballet" portion of the show, the first of six-themed sections that also included "Super Angels," "Passion," "Angels Aquatic," "I Put a Spell on You," and "Club Pink." They strutted, interestingly enough, to the song "You Make Me Want to Die" from Taylor Momsen's band, The Pretty Reckless! Candice was followed by Anja Rubik, Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio, Chanel Iman, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr, and many more! This was a unique year from the company since they introduced at least 12 new models to the lineup.

It was hard to compete with the over-the-top outfits, gems, and wings, but the musical acts nearly did so. Kanye West was finally able to perform for VS after canceling his 2007 appearance after the sudden death of his mother, Donda West. He dedicated the event to her saying, "I lost my superhero, but now she's my superangel." Kanye went on to sing "Stronger" as the Angels walked by him on stage, then Jay-Z came out for an amazing duo on their Watch the Throne song "N*ggas in Paris." Beyoncé Knowles even came out to see Jay in action, taking a front-row seat only for the duration of the track. Jay and Kanye got the fashion crowd on their feet, and Orlando Bloom was seen doing a little fist pumping!

Orlando was front and center to cheer on his wife, Miranda. It was Miranda's first time on the VS runway since giving birth to Flynn at the beginning of the year. She took multiple turns down the catwalk and finally wore Victoria's Secret's $2.5 million Fantasy Treasure Bra. Orlando gave Miranda a couple of standing ovations, as one of the most enthusiastic famous attendees, which also included Stephen Dorff, Lake Bell, Maxwell, Jack Huston, Lala Vasquez, and Gossip Girl's Matthew Settle.

In addition to Jay and Kanye, Maroon 5 performed "Moves Like Jagger" and lead singer Adam Levine broke from the band temporarily to place a big kiss on the cheek of his angel girlfriend, Anne V. Earlier in the day while backstage, Anne V said she and Adam planned the moment. She said, "I'm a model, he's a singer, we're just doing our jobs and just happen to be together, so maybe we'll do a cute moment but nothing crazy. I'm very excited to have him next to me, it's very special." Nicki Minaj wrapped things up with a rendition of "Super Bass," with newcomer Karlie Kloss closing the show in her fluorescent wings.

Blake Heads to Brooklyn to Celebrate Theater With Peter and Maggie

Blake Lively broke from shooting the final episodes of this season for Gossip Girl and threw on a trench coat for a night out in Brooklyn yesterday. She joined theater-lovers Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard, who live in the borough and are currently starring in Checkhov's Three Sisters, at the Brooklyn Academy of Music's 2011 Gala. The actors gathered along with Claire Danes, Hugh Dancy, and Hugh Jackman to celebrate Geoffrey Rush, the current star of BAM's Diary of a Madman production. Geoffrey is also coming off an incredible award season, having been nominated for an Oscar for his role in The King's Speech. Blake, meanwhile, is getting used to being back in the US after a trip away to Paris, where she was fêted once again for being the new face of Chanel's Mademoiselle handbags - check out some behind-the-scenes shots from her shoot with Karl Lagerfeld.
