On one hand, it feels like the end of an era now that Rolling Stone magazine is shrinking from its oversize format down to a "regular"-sized magazine, starting with the Oct. 30 issue. On the other hand, a smaller mag is easier to carry around and might be easier to read in general.

If you're anything like me, you have way too many magazine subscriptions to read all the articles you want to read each month — much less keep track of when they're due to be renewed. That's where Maghound is trying to step in. Coming in September, the service will let you subscribe to magazines published by Time Inc.

When you have a parenting movie set in New York, you should know better than to expect a warm-'n'-fuzzy story about the joys of having kids. In fact, Motherhood is out to prove that mothers have it rough.
The film follows Eliza Welsh (Uma Thurman), a Manhattan writer dealing with a cramped apartment, busy husband, and side-street parking while raising her two kids.

I've admitted before that I'm a bit of a Saved by the Bell fanatic. I followed Zack Morris and the gang from Miss Bliss's classroom to Malibu Sands to Vegas, and I was pretty excited about a possible reunion. They spent so much time on my TV, I felt like I knew them.

Holiday romantic comedies are bound to be a bit cheesy. When the movie is actually called The Holiday, cheesiness is almost guaranteed. But this latest romp from director Nancy Meyers, which hits theaters tomorrow, rises to the top of its frothy, feel-good genre.
