Remember Garry Marshall? Director of some beloved flicks like Pretty Woman and Beaches (and some others like Runaway Bride and Raising Helen)? Regardless of the fact that his last directorial project was that Lindsay Lohan thing, Georgia Rule, he's still one of the bigger directors in this genre.

Well, it happened. The original mean girl in Betty's life, Kimmie Keegan (Lindsey Lohan), infiltrates Mode this week, throwing all kinds of office dynamics off-kilter on Ugly Betty.
The last time we saw Kimmie, she was slinging burgers and telling Betty about how awful her life is.

Last week, Betty let her good and decent self help out an old enemy in need by showing her the ropes at Mode. In doing so, she made a monster out of Kimmie, who nabbed a promotion and declared ominously that she felt like her old self again.
So when Ugly Betty opens this week, Kimmie is empowered and all the rage in the office.

It's funny, isn't it, how and when actors' personal lives begin to sabotage their professional lives? Lindsay Lohan, once a promising young talent, is in the process of rebuilding her career after issues with drugs, alcohol, and bar fights. Then there's Tom Cruise, who has been in career rehab ever since he jumped the couch.

- It was a big week for The CW with the season premiere of Gossip Girl and the series premiere of 90210. You can see a lot of thoughts on 90210 at our live chat, weigh in with your own thoughts on the new cast, and check out a recap of GG's white hot return.
- Oh, but there was more Gossip Girl news! The first ever soundtrack of music featured on the show is out, and it looks like Serena and Blair will both appear on 30 Rock!
- And because I was watching 90210 I caught the new Confessions of a Shopaholic trailer and shared it with you!
- Another really great trailer was out this week too: Milk starring Sean Penn.

Earlier this week I brought you glimpses of some of this summer's big-budget films and then asked you which one interested you most as the first part of my summer movie preview. Now, check out the dramatic films that promise to be most arresting.
A Mighty Heart
This story shocked and saddened me when it first appeared in the news, and while I'm not eager to relive that, A Mighty Heart seems more likely to be a tender homage to the memory of Daniel Pearl, which is important.

Though the movie doesn't come out for two more months, the trailer for Georgia Rule, starring Lindsay Lohan, just hit the Internet. Lohan plays an uncontrollable teenager (okay, not the biggest stretch) whose mother (Felicity Huffman) sends her to live with her grandmother (Jane Fonda) in a Mormon Idaho town. Hmm...

Just in case you weren't aware of this yet, Georgia Rule opens this Friday May 11 and it stars Lindsay Lohan in a role that seems like it was made for her. She plays a rebellious young lady whose mother (Felicity Huffman, who I love) sends her to live with her strict-but-loving grandmother (Jane Fonda). I'm excited to see this movie because the two older women are awesome, and, admittedly I'm curious to watch Lindsay Lohan do something for the cameras besides flashing the peace sign or her unmentionables.
