I already told you that werewolves were the new vampires, and I have evidence in spades: first, news broke that there's a movie adaptation in the works of wolf romance novel Shiver, and today comes the news that '80s werewolf thriller The Howling will be remade as The Howling: Reborn. But like vampires, werewolves aren't anything new — and to prove it, check out my list of some of the best werewolf characters in pop culture.

Remake Fame comes out on Friday, with a whole new cast of kids as talented students. The number one reason I'd see it: the dance numbers. It doesn't matter what style, I am a sucker for dance movies.

If you like lists, you should really check out the current issue of Entertainment Weekly, which has tons of No. 1s to debate as they break down the "new classics" in various fields of entertainment. The issue names the best movies, TV shows, movie posters, books, and even theme songs of the past 25 years — an overwhelming amount of information, but also a great read.

With the cancellation of the (very) short-lived Viva Laughlin a couple of weeks back, the Chicago Tribune went out on a limb and wrote up a list of the 25 worst shows of all time. Lists like this are obviously meant for debate, so I have to take issue with a few of the choices, namely: Mr. Belvedere? Come on!

I've said before that I'm a bit of a sap, and it's never more evident than when I break into tears while watching TV. There are a bunch of moments that always make me lose it — no matter how predictable or silly they are, no matter how many times I've seen them — and so, just in case you're feeling mopey today, I'm counting down a few of the scenes most consistently guaranteed to leave me drowning in a pile of soggy tissues.
