What was Gossip Girl Leighton Meester for Halloween? A rock star! The actress, who also moonlights as a singer, was invited to jump onstage Saturday night with Weezer at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC and duet with Rivers on the band's new single "(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To."

Blair Waldorf is about to take to the open road: Leighton Meester is set to team up with Amber Heard for Cowgirl Bandits, a movie that's described as "a young version of Thelma and Louise."
Before you cry sacrilege, this isn't necessarily a remake — it's quite vague, but it sounds like the ladies may just be playing the same character types . .

This week's season finale of Gossip Girl is everything I've come to expect from this show in terms of the way it ties up loose ends. It ties them, and then it unties them, and then it ties them again. All in an hour.

There's always talk of how manipulative Gossip Girl's Lily can be. Some say she's a bad mom because she's been married a lot and is overly concerned with appearances at the expense of her own children. But I've always thought she seemed cool.

This week's Gossip Girl is a big improvement over last week's, just because things (ridiculous things!) are happening, for once. Chuck and Blair reunite to save Serena, Vanessa and Dan drink together, Nate gets an apartment in Murray Hill, and we learn Rufus is a huge dummy with money. Oh, and Georgina is back, and the girl is saved, which is a very fun twist indeed.
