Colin Farrell Premieres In Bruges and Helps Heath

Colin Farrell looked a little greasy but nicely suited up at the Dublin International Film Festival this weekend to premiere In Bruges. The Irish actor has had a strong film career along with a bad boy reputation that has turned sentimental since having a son. That warmness also comes through in his career as Colin has joined Jude Law and Johnny Depp to keep Heath's Ledger's final film alive. The three actors cast in The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus will play Heath's character in different fantasy worlds. Sound pretty amazing and it sure is wonderful to see how Hollywood rallied together to keep the star's presence alive.

Colin Farrell Is Figuring It All Out In Bruges

While In Bruges kicked off Sundance with its world premiere, it's still got the rest of the world to meet, including last night's NYC screening. Of course, Colin Farrell was out to show off his film (and his hot accent) though something about that fedora is so not working for me. That being said, he won me over entirely talking about his son last fall and again recently saying, "I really hope if he’s anything of me he’s whatever the best of me is." He also talked about taking a break in his career post-Miami Vice and what that's all meant to him. He said:

“I’m just trying to figure it out...I use work kind of selfishly to try and understand myself and the world around me and all that kind of stuff. I also use myself and the world around me to try and understand the work so it’s kind of mutually generous in that way. I had a chance after ‘Miami Vice’ to take a little time off and I took a little time off. There was no major orchestration and I’m being really genuine because I know it sounds like I’m just saying it for saying its sake, but I never really had a master plan. I’ve just been very lucky and have had a load of opportunities...I just took the time to try and figure out what it all means to me.”

See, he may look all rough and tumble, but Colin seems like a sweetheart deep down. I gotta say, this bad boy gone good thing is totally working for me, even if I am not always loving the look.

Mary-Kate and Colin Kick Off Hot and Freezing Sundance Fun

Sundance Film Festival officially kicked off last night starting with the screening of Colin Farrell's In Bruges. You know what that means, a couple weeks of some of our favorite movie stars and newcomers all bundled up to brave that f-f-freezing Park City, Utah weather. Mary-Kate Olsen (who looks a lot like Ashley here...why am I so bad at this game these days) was extra smiley out to celebrate the start of the festival - and her bizarre sounding move The Wackness gets its very own Sundance premiere this weekend. Here's the fun part, BuzzSugar and I are headed to Park City, Utah this weekend to join in on the 2008 Sundance fun, see some great movies (and hopefully have some great celebrity sightings). We'll be keeping you updated on all the industry action and of course gossip, so stay tuned!

Ralph Fiennes Eschews Bedroom Convention

Ralph Fiennes is apparently done with his world tour promoting safe sex/HIV awareness and is back on set filming his upcoming film, In Bruges, with Colin Farrell. Unfortunately, the scandal surrounding his in-air dalliances (again, while out promoting safe sex) isn't done yet. Whether or not Ralph did actually have sex with the flight attendant he followed into the bathroom (maybe he thought there were multiple stalls?), a source is saying that the actor's ex is less than surprised by the rumors. A friend of Sirin Lewenden told the London Daily Mail that she broke up with star of “The English Patient” because of his “wandering eye” and his “constant demands for what might best be described as unconventional sex.”
