Do You Want to See Barney and Robin Back Together?
First, I have to gush a little about this week's episode of How I Met Your Mother, the one I think may be the best of the season so far. It has an impromptu musical number from Ted, a guest appearance from a surprisingly on point Jennifer Lopez, and an acknowledgment that the writers have not forgotten what the viewers haven't: that Barney and Robin dated.
Back in November I was irritated with the way the show gave up on their relationship, but last night we got a flicker of the possibility of reconciliation (which Carter Bays also recently hinted at).

The Olympics may be sending my favorite shows into reruns, but we can still dream about the episodes yet to come. Jennifer Lopez Is HIMYM's Newest Guest Star!
Looks like Jennifer Lopez is making her way around the TV circuit. Just last week there were rumblings that she could make an appearance on Glee, and today it's been confirmed that we'll see her on an upcoming episode of How I Met Your Mother!
Lopez will play Anita Appleby, "an outspoken self-help guru who makes it her mission to break caddish Barney of his womanizing ways."

It's the night we HIMYM fans have been waiting for — the show's 100th episode! All the anticipation is due to the little hints about the special that have been leaked over the past few months. First we've got appearance of guest star Rachel Bilson, who may or may not be the mother (though she may have some stiff competition).
Who Would You Pick For Ted on How I Met Your Mother?
I guess this means that Rachel Bilson is not The One for Ted? People reports that Carrie Underwood has been tapped to guest star on How I Met Your Mother as a perky drug sales rep — and a love interest for Ted. Considering the show's 100th episode — and Bilson's appearance — are around the corner and Underwood hasn't shot her scenes yet, I'm getting discouraged that Bilson could be Ted's future wife.
