The story revolves around "a young waitress who embarks on a romance with an ambitious chef (Evan Ross). Her grandparents (Ellen Burstyn and Michael Murphy) have their concerns about the boy's criminal past."</p> <p>As Zap2It points out, Duff's previous credits include <b>Material Girls</b>, <b>Cheaper by the Dozen</b>, <b>The Perfect Man</b> and <b>Raise Your Voice</b>, not to mention, of course "Lizzie McGuire."
