Ben Affleck and Co. will again team up to produce another crime thriller, though this time they're abandoning the Afflecks' beloved Boston and relocating to Chicago. Like Affleck's last project Gone Baby Gone, this one's based on a gritty crime novel, Marcus Sakey's debut tome The Blade Itself.

Note: After much pleading, Buzz let me go see this movie to review. Thanks, Buzz!
As a Boston area native, movies about the city usually fall within two distinct categories.

Fox kicked off network Upfront week in New York this morning by announcing its Fall schedule, and here's a headline right off the bat: So You Think You Can Dance, Fox's summertime dance competition show, is getting a Fall edition as well.
The show will air in an American Idol-like fashion, with a two-hour performance show on Tuesdays and a one-hour results show on Wednesdays. That Wednesday show will lead into Glee, the musical dramedy that has its sneak peek after Idol this week.

Wow, we're already just a week away from the fifth season finale of Lost. I feel like this season has flown by — and I've been pretty much satisfied with it. What about you?

Smokey Robinson stopped by American Idol this week to advise the 10 remaining contestants in the ways of Motown. The night included footage of a trip to Detroit, some weird stuff with Paula, Simon, and a magic marker, and a lot of fairly boring performances. Or maybe it wasn't the performances as much as the show itself, which seemed bloated with random asides (a coloring book?) and yet somehow still managed to seem rushed by the end.

This just might be my favorite kind of Lost episode — all Sawyer, all the time. We get to find out what the heck went on on the island while the Oceanic Six were on the mainland, doing their respective things. So the story of Miles, Juliet, Faraday and Sawyer continues and we meet a few more Dharma Initiative people (Dharmites?

On this week's Grey's Anatomy, fallout continues from Derek's surgical mistake a couple of weeks back. It was, as the episode title says, an honest mistake, but when surgeons make mistakes, they hold people's lives in their hands. This episode got pretty intense at times; are you ready to talk about it?
