I remember when I saw Dazed and Confused in the theater circa 1993 (15 years ago!) — I wanted to see it again, and again, and again. And, I have. It's probably one of my most worn out DVDs.

Whilst the fashion world experiences a brief '90s nostalgia, the music world follows suit. With the revival of bands such as Take That, Boyzone and The Spice Girls surely it's only a matter of time 'til Eternal reform. Kelle Bryan has just finished a stint on stage at the Arcola Theatre where she appeared in Torn. Whilst turning her hand to acting she has been wearing a very blunt fringe.
I know this might seem like an easy point of blame but I think it's fair to say that you can blame Kate Moss for fringed shoes. Her obsession with moccasin boots has caused them to stay on the fashion radar (albeit on the outskirts) for almost as long as Ugg boots.
However, fringe detail on shoes has taken a turn for the better as it begins to grace not just boots but also t-bar heels and sandals.
After making all the ladies at Comic-Con swoon last week, it was back to work for Joshua Jackson on the set of Fringe in Brooklyn yesterday. He looked as adorable as ever in his sunglasses, and we couldn't be more excited for the first season to finally get here. Buzz is already hooked on it and considering Josh was one of the guys we most wanted to see more of in 2008 we know we could get used to seeing his pretty face on a weekly basis again.

Trend Alert: Fringe Benefits
As fashion begins to return to the world of elegance and glamor, we see the emergence of fringe detailing. This delicate addition to tops, dresses, and accessories adds texture and movement. It was featured on the catwalk at Chanel and Jaeger, but also at Gareth Pugh where (never one to do things by halves) he used actual hair.

A herd of cattle grazing in a parking lot probably isn't the weirdest thing I saw during Comic-Con, but it's not too far off. The dozen or so cows had a purpose, though, serving as a clue along the way during a Fringe-related scavenger hunt in San Diego.
If you've seen the Fringe pilot — which several thousand more people now have seen following the San Diego screenings — you'll get the cow thing, which also came up at TCA; if not, stay tuned for Fall.

I'm drawn to the colors in the outfit AmyFloyd wore to the movies with her hubbie and friends. The blue skirt is nicely contrasted by the loose white tank and fringe-tastic ivory scarf. The gold metallic sandals add just the right amount of shine.

The networks have announced their Fall schedules, but which of the series will actually be worth watching. This Summer, as the networks release their pilots, I'll be posting my first impressions. A lot can change before a show makes it to air — especially this year, when the writers' strike severely gummed up the production of pilots — so consider these just some quick thoughts on how the shows look now.

BuzzSugar and I are down in LA for the TCAs, starting with yesterday's Fox presentations. Highlights included seeing Joshua Jackson promote Fringe, even if it was only via satellite, hearing Jerry O'Connell joke about his Tom Cruise impression, Brian Austin Green all hot and tan and — get this — hearing Jon Voight talk about Angelina Jolie and the new twins while promoting 24. Check out Buzz for more in depth coverage of all the panels and details on the new and returning shows, and here are some more of my observations from Fox's presentations and party last night on Santa Monica Pier:
