Goofy TV Crossovers We'd Love to See

Tonight's episode of Bones on Fox features a very special guest star: Stewie Griffin. Yes, the cranky Family Guy baby steps into Booth's brain (see a preview here). I figure, if a cartoon can guest on a live-action show, there must be all sorts of other silly TV crossovers just waiting to happen. No, none of these are likely to actually show up on my screen (and, in all honesty, that's probably a good thing) - but it's amusing to joke about nonetheless.

Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy Are Crossing Over

Remember how fun it was to see Addison return to Grey's Anatomy last Spring? Well, she's coming back - and this time, she might be bringing some of her Oceanside Wellness colleagues with her.

TV Guide is reporting that Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice will have a multiepisode crossover for February sweeps. While the exact number of episodes and characters involved is still being hammered out, one certain thing is that Addison will be returning to Seattle.

It's unclear whether the plot would take place both in Seattle and in Santa Monica, but it's definitely an intriguing idea - and maybe a good reason to keep watching Private Practice! Which Grey's docs do you think would have the most interesting trips to Oceanside? And which members of the Oceanside family would you like to see rubbing elbows with the residents and attendings at Seattle Grace?

Buzz In: Which Actors Have Made Albums You Like?

Earlier this week, I gave the Dead Man's Bones debut album a listen. You may not recognize the band name, but you probably recognize the frontman: it's actor Ryan Gosling. I'm a big Gosling fan, but I wasn't expecting his music to have any substance, or for me to actually like it. Nothing against him, it's just that actors crossing over into music usually fall into a fitting cliche - epic failure.

Every once in a while, though, someone talented proves they're truly multi-talented and makes some enjoyable music. Last year, I fell for She & Him, Zooey Deschanel's project with M. Ward, and I loved Phantom Planet: The Jason Schwartzman years.
