Winner Of Our Caption It Competition!

Last week I asked you to come up with a witty caption to go with this picture of Steve Gerrard receiving an honorary fellowship from Liverpool John Moores University.

I got some awesome entries so it was tricky to decide who to crown the winner, but I'm pleased to announce the winning caption is:

"Mam, what am I wearing, I can't believe you didn't wash me kit like!"

Caption It, Sugar! Stevie G. In His Robes

I know it's childish, but I had a little giggle when I saw these pictures of Steve Gerrard receiving an honorary fellowship from Liverpool John Moores University today.

Judging from the smiles on his and Alex's faces, it looks like they found the whole thing rather amusing too! I prefer to see Stevie G. on the pitch in his Liverpool or England kit, but I'm sure this is a really proud moment for the footballer, so a big congrats to him.

Before revealing the winner we just had to show you more pictures of Matthew acting like an absolute nut on the set of Surfer Dude, and now he's getting his crazy all over his poor costar Alexie Gilmore. We hope she's getting paid well for the film! She deserves it!
