Nothing gets me laughing like some good blooper reels from my favorite TV shows. Grey's Anatomy, in particular, has delivered some pretty good blooper reels in the past, and I always look forward to when the next season's will make its way to YouTube.
This year, ABC put out teasers of the blooper reels for a bunch of its shows, including Grey's, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, and Private Practice.

In case you've ever suspected the set of "The Office" might be the most fun place to work, here's some more fuel for the fire: the bloopers from the show's third season. Most, unsurprisingly, feature Steve Carell in character as Michael Scott, but there are some great Rainn Wilson moments, too. Among the other revelations: Jenna Fischer sneezes a lot, Ed Helms couldn't remember that Andy was his character's name, and Mindy Kaling may or may not know which celebrity baby is Suri and which is Shiloh.

I like to go through a little bit of post-Oscars decompression wherein I watch movies that are closer to the fun side of the spectrum. Thankfully, there a few new popcorn flicks out on DVD and ripe for rental, and though there's one nominee in the mix, it's still an easy one to watch.

In She's Out of My League, Jay Baruchel plays a guy who inexplicably starts dating a gorgeous girl who friends have rated a "hard 10." Nate Torrence plays one of his friends, and the two very funny actors recently sat down to talk about the movie, becoming friends on set, and the controversial scenes they wish had never made it in the film.
- On whether they knew each other and their other costars before filming:
Nate: No, we didn't know each other at all.

Scrubs has always been creative with its music, and on Wednesday's maybe season finale, maybe series finale, the show knocked it out of the park once more. As JD prepares to leave Sacred Heart one last time, he envisions a possible future for himself, filmed in old-school home movie style. Playing behind the montage is Peter Gabriel's take on "The Book of Love," originally recorded for the Shall We Dance soundtrack.

All of the new DVD releases hit stores (and Netflix) on Tuesdays. So each week in What to Netflix: New DVD Tuesday, I sort through the best of the batch and tell you what to add to your queue. This week, the most exciting options in DVD releases are TV shows, from the third season of "Desperate Housewives," to Season 2 of "Prison Break" to, if you're so inclined, the whole short-lived series of "The Black Donnellys."

These days, it seems almost unfathomable that anyone would release a TV series or movie on DVD without packing the discs full of special features. From commentary tracks to blooper reels, the DVDs seem like little gifts for fans who really want to go behind the scenes.
Personally, I just can't say no to a good gag reel.
