Safe House: A Standout Thriller

While working for the CIA may seem like a dream job, Matt Weston's (Ryan Reynolds) current position at a Safe House is certainly no picnic. He's a new agent, stationed alone in South Africa, waiting for the chance that he will have a "house guest" (someone who is taken prisoner by the CIA.) Matt's desperately trying to get some field experience so he can be stationed in some other city where he can see a little action. After a year of boredom, his wish comes true when Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington) arrives.

I was constantly on the edge of my seat throughout the film, and felt everyone in the theater being equally enraptured with what was unraveling before our eyes. Safe House has high-stakes moments cut with sardonic, nonchalant comedy that Reynolds and Washington both pull off nicely. I felt connected to everyone's struggles, but the plot kept me unsure if I wanted the good guy or the bad guy to come out on top. Kristen Stewart is heading to fairy-tale land for this Summer's fantasy adventure film Snow White and the Huntsman, and we have a few breathtaking shots from the film to browse. The Bourne Legacy Teaser: Jeremy Renner Takes Over For Matt Damon

Matt Damon may have exited the Bourne franchise, but his successor, Jeremy Renner, is primed and ready to go. In this brief teaser for The Bourne Legacy, we meet his character, Aaron Cross, an operative being prepped for Treadstone, the CIA program that turned Bourne into an elite government assassin. We shouldn't be surprised that there are more agents like Bourne, apparently, because as Edward Norton's character intones, "Jason Bourne was the tip of the iceberg."

As we see Cross being groomed, and then using his jaw-dropping skills in the field, I let go of my wistfulness for Damon, because Renner's new incarnation is such a badass. Plus, the fact that there are mainstays from the Bourne series here, like director Tony Gilroy and supporting cast members Joan Allen and David Strathairn, gives the new film some consistency, even if Damon isn't there. Though he'll always be the original, I can't wait to see what Renner brings to the table, because from the looks of the trailer, he's the right choice to play Damon's successor. The Amazing Spider-Man Trailer: Andrew Garfield Flies, Fights, Romances Emma Stone

The full-length trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man is finally here, and it answers a lot of the questions we were wondering about when the teaser came out last Summer. While we get a long, satisfactory look at the adorable Andrew Garfield as Spidey, in and out of the suit, we also have more insight into Rhys Ifans's villain character, The Lizard. The initial teaser focuses on how Peter Parker transforms into Spider-Man, but this preview shows us what happens after he gets his powers (lots of agile crime-fighting and confounding the police).

There's also plenty of blond Emma Stone as love interest Gwen Stacy, and her cozy scenes with Parker are adorable (and a little jealousy-inducing). Garfield is as winning as I hoped he'd be, whether he's being cheeky about using his abilities to climb Gwen's building ("your doorman's intimidating") or trying to do the right thing as a vigilante. With his charm and what seems like an exciting setup, I have faith that this new installment can live up to the earlier franchise. See New Pictures From The Avengers!

We have to wait until next Summer to see some of our favorite comic book heroes align on the big screen for The Avengers, but at least we've got some new pictures from the film to hold us over. Get another peek at the film's familiar faces - that is, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

Check Out the Latest Trailer For The Avengers!

The Super Bowl wouldn't be complete without some blockbuster movie trailers, and this year's big game came complete with a fresh look at The Avengers. This spot is short and sweet, mostly focusing on seeing the team assemble and prepare for epic battling. Though the first Avengers trailer is more satisfying and in-depth, this little teaser is keeping us excited for the film's Summer release. Plus, we get a much better look at The Hulk (who actually looks pretty similar to the big green guy we saw in the Ed Norton movie.)

Watch a New Goosebump-Inducing Trailer For The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games' release date of Mar. 23 still feels so far away, considering how excited we are about the movie. To quench that thirst, there's a new trailer to watch featuring all-new footage of the tributes practicing for the arena, Katniss and Peeta being interviewed by Caesar Flickerman, and an emphasis placed on the all-important Mockingjay pin. We see Katniss giving it to her terrified sister before the reaping, and then later, Cinna furtively placing it on Katniss's arena clothes.

Every new look at this film gets me more pumped, since it seems to be loyal to the book and appears to be as spine-chilling as it should be (honestly, Cato throwing that spear kind of made me quake in my boots). To watch the new trailer, just keep reading.

The Cold Light of Day Trailer: Henry Cavill Heads to Spain to Kick Butt

Get excited: the oh-so-dreamy Henry Cavill (that's the next Superman, in case you didn't know) brings his good looks to The Cold Light of Day trailer. In the film, Will (Cavill) and his family are traveling abroad and soaking up the sun in a beautiful seaside Spanish town for what appears to be a relaxing getaway. Everything changes when he runs out for a quick errand, and upon his return, he finds an empty boat and his whole family gone. We learn that his father (Bruce Willis) really works for the CIA, and someone has kidnapped the whole clan. Despite the fact that he has no training or plan, Will and his instinct ("his only weapon") attempt to save the day.

This movie may look like a million other movies we've seen before, but I've said it once, and I'll say it again: Henry Cavill is hot. I loved him in Immortals, and can't wait to see what he'll bring to this thriller. Plus, I'm glad to see him in such talented company, including Sigourney Weaver, who has a supporting role. Lock-Out Trailer: "Loose Cannon" Guy Pearce Goes to Space

For the worst criminals in the world, a maximum-security prison on this planet will no longer suffice. In Lock-Out, the worst of the worst get to go to space. For some reason, the president's daughter is on a "goodwill mission" at the place where the most dangerous dudes in the world serve their time. During her stay, the inmates have an uprising, and there's one guy in the world who can stop them. The gorgeous Guy Pearce plays the bad boy Snow who is (and I quote) "the best there is - but he's a loose cannon."

My first impressions when I saw that Lock-Out trailer? It's a high-tech Con Air in space: the inmates take over, and they're doomed to have an epic crash down to Earth. However, the movie does have the same producers as Liam Neeson's thriller Taken, which proved to be a decent film. In the same vein, the actress who played Neeson's kidnapped daughter in the film, Maggie Grace, plays the president's daughter in Lock-Out - looks like she's got the damsel-in-distress gig down pat.
