Justin Timberlake Poses With Mila Kunis and Talks Up His Director Friend Will Gluck

Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake reunited with their Friends With Benefits director Will Gluck this morning at a photo call atop Moscow's Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The trio were together last night as well, hitting a red carpet for their Russian premiere. Mila wore white Elie Saab for the screening, and that color was her pick today, too. The overseas press tour comes after a grueling month of promotions for Justin, Will, and Mila in the US. Justin was able to break from the duties over the weekend to chat up In Time at Comic-Con. Mila will likewise need to take a break soon, as she'll be needed on the set of Oz: The Great and Powerful. Justin, however, hopes to work with Will again soon. Justin said of Will Gluck, "We will make plenty of movies together. . . . You feel great being in a movie like this when your director wants you to succeed in every way. He wants to see the guys relate to you, and the girls fall in love with you."

Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake joined their Friends With Benefits director Will Gluck in Moscow today for the Russian debut of the movie. Mila wore an Elie Saab couture dress that brought to mind her Black Swan ballerina role. Mila and Justin's new romantic comedy opened on big screens stateside last weekend, and while it came in third at the box office with $18.5 million, it was up against tough competition with Captain America and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 also in theaters. Justin and Mila will now see how the film fares overseas, but she'll be back to work on her next project soon since production has already started on Oz: The Great and Powerful in Michigan.

Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis, wearing a flirty Monique Lhuillier dress, were joined by their Friends With Benefits costar Patricia Clarkson and director Will Gluck at the Cancun Film Festival yesterday. It's been a jet-setting week for Justin, who flew to Phoenix for Monday's MLB All-Star game and then mingled with the world's best athletes at Wednesday's ESPY Awards in LA. During the show, Justin made another joke about his favorite beverage of choice, beer, and handed out an award alongside NFL player Aaron Rodgers. Justin's other new movie, Bad Teacher, also debuted at the festival over the weekend with his pal Cameron Diaz rolling solo for the photocall. Friends With Benefits is the latest comedy from Gluck since his Easy A. Just Go With It: The Title Says It All

There are a lot (and I mean a lot) of elements of Just Go With It that don't make sense. Why is Palmer (Brooklyn Decker) completely smitten with Danny (Adam Sandler) when they seem to have no chemistry at all? Why do so many characters use fake accents? And most importantly, when did Dave Matthews become an actor? It's possible to keep yourself distracted during the length of the film simply by adding up the absurdities, but you'll have a much better time if you take a cue from the film's title and don't ask questions. Just go with it.

Danny serves as the film's narrator and central focus, a plastic surgeon who was scarred by love when his fiancée broke his heart. After an accidental twist of fate, Danny learns that he can score many a one-night stand by flashing a wedding band and playing the role of abused husband. He chalks up his behavior to protecting himself from getting hurt again, but changes his tune when he meets Palmer, a 23-year-old teacher with the body of a bikini model (literally) and a good heart. After one night on the beach, the two decide that their relationship could be something real - that is, until Palmer finds Danny's fake wedding ring and demands to meet his "soon-to-be-ex-wife." Unwilling to give up on a woman he's actually falling for, Danny turns to the only woman he trusts, his assistant Katherine (Jennifer Aniston), to play the role.

The film's far-fetched premise doesn't even end there: Katherine's two children (Bailee Madison and Griffin Gluck) get roped into the production, and seize the opportunity to get attention (along with a slew of other demands). The cute kids provide decent comic relief, but the constant shenanigans they're forced to endure (particularly when Danny scolds Michael for breaking character) sometimes borders on abuse.

The film's jokes can best be described as hit-or-miss; Sandler pulls out everything in his bag of tricks from silly voices to potty humor, but there are as many clunkers as there are laughs. The same can be said for the cameos and supporting players, which range from Heidi Montag to Nicole Kidman. Kidman actually shines as Katherine's snotty college arch nemesis, if only for the fact that it's entertaining to see her in a comedy. On the other hand, Nick Swardson is mostly irritating as Danny's cousin who inserts himself into the charade as Katherine's stuffy "lover."

Romantic comedies are dependent on the chemistry between the two leads, and in the case of Just Go With It, Aniston and Sandler hold it all together. The best friends who don't know they're in love with each other theme is one we're all familiar with, but Aniston and Sandler bring enough charm to Katherine and Danny to make them a couple worth rooting for. Their banter works both on a brother-sister level and on a romantic level, and it's a welcome relief from Danny's relationship with Palmer, which mostly consists of Sandler making jokes about their age difference that feel more creepy than sweet.

Like I said, realism is seldom found in Just Go With It, but there's a beating heart underneath the schlocky plastic surgery jokes and gratuitous shots of Brooklyn Decker's cleavage. Manage your expectations; take the film for what it is, and just go along for the ride.

Mila Likes the Way Justin Sings "Happy Birthday" and He Talks More About MySpace

Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake are entering the final stretch of their promotional tour for Friends With Benefits. The pair were joined by director Will Gluck, Jenna Elfman, and Emma Stone at Monday night's Friends With Benefits premiere in NYC, but last week they were in LA to chat about disrobing in front of the cameras and favorite films at the junket. Justin also briefly shared what he has planned for the future of MySpace. Here's more:

Mila, are you a fan of Justin's music?
MK: "[I like] the way he sings "Happy Birthday."
JT: "Pretty sure you're a big fan of my original compositions."

Mila, are your parents comfortable with the sex scenes?
MK: [laughing] "They're okay with it. They've seen it, I'm still here [alive.] No, my dad saw it. You know, he liked it. He thought it was very funny. He actually thought it was sincerely very funny and that he liked the movie. Yeah no, he liked it."

Mila, do you have any interest in joining Twitter?:
MK: "I do not tweet, nor do I Facebook."
JT: "Just say no. You don't have to explain."

Justin, do you gravitate towards self deprecating humor?:
JT: "[serious]Yes, I think my life is hilarious. I should not be here, and I am. I think my life is funny."

Have either of you ever borrowed a romantic gesture from a film?:
JT: "I thought once about playing Peter Gabriel from a boom box."
MK: "That would be awesome."
JT: "Yeah?"
MK: "Yeah, you should do it."

Did you workout more knowing you'd be naked?:
MK: "I did not."
JT: "She weighed 87 lbs. from Black Swan so she was just eating cheeseburgers."
MK: "Yeah, now I'm at the gym all the time don't get me wrong."
JT: "I train mostly all the time, I think what I do is stop drinking beer and [start] eating more vegetables and less pasta."

Justin, what were the sex scenes like?
JT: "There's not a lot of female nudity in this movie so my physical job in those scenes was to [cover Mila] make sure. . . whatever. I found out really quick what was in Mila's contract because I was covering it up. But I think we wanted those to be funny and we shared the camaraderie in that so it kind of took the weird air out of all that and we just sort of went for it."

Justin, what was it like working with Woody Harrelson?
JT: "Woody is amazing, Woody's just a fantastic actor and a great comedian, but I'm actually glad you brought that up because that's a really important part of the movie for me. Will and I had a lot of discussion about it. Woody's character in a lot of ways is an original on film to be able to portray a gay male in the way that he is. Coming from my experience, I have a lot of guy friends, straight and gay, and we're all just friends regardless of sexual preference. So I wanted that to be in the movie, and so we took some chances with it."

What romantic comedies did you watch to prepare for the role?
MK: Pretty Woman, When Harry Met Sally.
JT: Yeah, when When Harry Met Sally is probably a good one. You know Will kept referencing Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn. . . I think it was only in reference in how he wanted the banter to feel. That these two were equal counterparts and that they couldn't see it and that's what makes you fall in love with their story as the movie progresses so you'll be like, 'You guys are perfect for each other, these two characters are perfect for each other' and they're fighting it and they're doing it through humor. . . We just wanted to make a comedy about our generation, we wanted to just say what was funny about our generation and I feel like we were able to do that."

What was important to interject into your characters?:
MK: "I think just being honest to the generation itself and not losing sight of that and not trying to please people or appease people, but just being truthful to what both Justin and myself and Will believed."
JT: "My favorite movie of all time, there's a quote from it, 'Yup, life moves pretty fast if you don't stop and take a look around once in a while you could miss it.' and I think that's part of our generation . . . I think that's why I feel like this is more a generational comedy. We weren't trying to make a romantic comedy. If anything, romantic comedies are by virtue not rated R so we wanted to make a real, situational comedy that two people happen to fall in love and then see if they can work it out."

Justin, can you tell us more about MySpace?:
JT:"I can't tell you because that would ruin when I get to tell you about it. But suffice it to say it's going to be what it should have been."
